Dog House All Breed Grooming

At the DOG HOUSE I have had my dogs shampooed and groomed the best they have been in a very long time. These dogs are Springer Spaniels and the dogs were taken care of and pampered to the last detail. I know you will be happy taking your dog there.

We have been taking our Great Pyrenees (125 pounds) to The Dog House for going on a year now, to be bathed and groomed. This is the most amazing place, in terms of handing large numbers of dogs - both small and large - with expertise and gentleness. Several times a year, we take our Great Pyrenees in to have his voluminous wiry fur clipped to about 3-4 inches all over, and to get his hard-as-nails toenails clipped properly and without mishap. (No way can we wrestle him to the ground to clip those nails, even though we have been clipping dogs' nails for 30 years.)

Before coming to this wonderful dog grooming salon, we had bad experiences with other groomers who had no idea whatsoever about how to do a "long puppy clip" on a dog this big. At The Dog House, they not only understand what we want in terms of a "long puppy clip" (i.e., DON'T shave him down to the skin, and don't leave him looking ragged and uneven), but they also do a truly magnificent job. He comes out looking like a movie star dog, and clearly has not been traumatized or upset in any way. He loves to go there, knows his groomer because he gets the same one every time (Tina - fantastic with big dogs like this), and he gets a very consistent clip every single time. I highly recommend this grooming salon regardless of the size of your dog. Every dog which we have seen come out of there looks beautiful.

Excellent Customer Service.. Friendly knowledgeable Staff. My Dogs LOOKED and SMELL GREAT.. And they were so happy .. I could tell they REALLY Love Dogs!!! The Shop was clean and bright .. Over the past 40 years, Rick has groomed 4 dogs who rescued me and each dog loved going there and each dog always looked and smelled beautiful. When Rick was ill or on vacation, Robert groomed my dogs with the same beautiful results. My dogs have all been Schnauzer mixes requiring different styles of grooming. My current dog is probably a Schnoodle and Rick's expert styling brings out her mischievous personality. In 40 plus years, there has never been even one mishap. If you want your fur babies to be treated with love and respect while they are getting beautiful, Rick or Robert at The Dog House are the Team for you. This is the best groomer in town! They are great with the dogs and do a fabulous job grooming. My dogs even jumps out of the car and gets excited to go in! They always look terrific when they are done and they are very thorough with their bathing and shampoo. I have a pit bull and a shih tzu and they handle them both well. This is the only groomer I'll choose!

My family and myself have been taking our pets to these guys for 25+ years. In all that time there was only one incident of which once brought to the attention of the owners, the responsible employee was fired. I currently drive 39 miles to have my dog groomed there. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

this german resturant is a great place to get. great service, this place is like a mom and pop resturant. the people the work there are funny and will keep you giggling and laughing as you enjoy your meal. they have a dry since of rumor. And the food is great.

I took my little Yorkie there several months ago for an appt at 9am, she told me he would be ready by 5pm....I thought wow why so long....why do I need an appt then. Anyways, I came back at 5 pm after doing my running around all day...mind you they had my cell number. I get there to pick up my dog and he is not there....he is at their vet getting stitches. OMG What!!!! No one called me...no one called my home number.....I ask why. No answer, but they gave me the place were they took my dog. I get there minutes before they close at 530PM and was told that my dog is well but still under. And he can't go home for a few hours.....I asked they lady about them closing. She assured me that the doctor and a staff member was staying late to see him out of recovery. So I had to leave because they locked the doors and said they would call me in a few hours. I go home sad, pissed, angry with myself. Hours later...it's dark now I get a call from the vet telling me to come get my baby. He has 7 stitches and exhusted, as well as I. I will never ever take my dogs there again. The fact that they didn't call me PISSED me off. And I have five dogs that use to go there. Not no more! However they still charged me $48.00 for a groom, but they did pay the vet bill. They should have never charged me at all.

The first time I took my dog to The Dog House he came home with a huge gash in his foot. No one told me he got cut, but my dog does not like having his toenails cut, so I thought he might have been squirming too much. I took him to the vet who told me he was fine. I took my dog back because I like to give people a chance, but he came home with a huge cut on his neck! They put a bandana around his neck and did not tell me he got cut. When his bandana came off a few days later I saw the cut and took him up to The Dog House for an explanation. The owner was not there but the employee I spoke to told me the owner would call me but never did. I finally called and spoke to the owner who told me my dog must have scratched himself and it wasn't them. She would accept no responsibility. I was telling a friend what had happened and she said they injured her dog as well. These people are horrible and do not know what they are doing.

Marlo's House is really unique in that it has terrific food and we always feel very comfortable while we are there. The owners are very friendly and do everything in their power to make your visit the best it can be.
