I called Milestone requesting a HVAC tech to help me determine the source of and solution to a hard-to-describe, intermittent odor issue I've been having for a few months. The tech, Paul Wallace, arrived promptly and listened carefully and patiently to my description, theories, etc. He walked m…

Previously obtained work at this location. Was unable to schedule at the end of the year. Finally made time to come in at the beginning of the year and was told my fillings that fell out were no longer covered because I was two months shy of the guarantee. Extremely long wait times for a simple …
They lack professionalism. If you enjoy being consistently approached about your child standing or doing things a kid would do then sign up for this place. They are not personable at all. The facility is over seen by a very inconsiderate owner, Stephanie Bailey.
I've been looking for a good school for my daughter since we've moved. I was very encouraged to check out this school based on the excellent reviews and attractive pricing. I scheduled a tour today at 11. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly face at the door and began the tour. When we entered the classroom for her age, there were multiple kids crying or upset, kids with full diapers- bursting at the seems, clearly hadn't been changed in hours, and most disturbing- the teacher screaming at a child at the top of her lungs. The teacher hadn't realized we were touring, nonetheless, in the classroom. The teachers seemed to have way too many students, seemed overwhelmed and had an unhappy demeaner. Our tour guide didn't bat at eye at this awkward, concerning behavior. Needless to say, we were underwhelmed by this experience and will not be taking our child here. I wanted to put this out there for current parents and parents looking in to this school to give them a heads up.
Fell in love with this place when I toured it a few weeks ago. Specifically asked what their policy on vaccinations. She said I'd have to provide proper docs for vaccines. In our case a vaccine exception is the proper document ion which I was told they do not accept. She went on to say that this is a "vaccine school". I asked if the school received any sort of state funding and she said yes but would still need to provide proper vax docs. When I told her that if she accepts state funding she'll need to accept my exceptions form she said she didn't have to because it was the law and only "vaccines children are welcome". Rude and discriminatory. You can lose your funding for not accepting the form. And while I wouldn't send my child to a place where I know he'll be picked on by his teachers it was how rude she was that really pushed me other the edge.
If you have loved ones at Creek View Adult Day Care located at 3342 Broadway Blvd #124 ,Garland, TX 75043I suggest you install hidden camera and/ or microphone on your loved one. I just saw a man escorting out a client. At the slightest sound he was told to" shut up" . If he's like that in public I can only imagine behind closed doors. The client was obviously mentally challenged. So not able to speak for himself. Not saying anything major beyond disrespecting clients going on but I wouldn't feel comfortable with my loved ones here after that. JS.
I would have to say Oak Creek is the best school around! The cost is inexpensive compared to other daycares in the area but yet Oak Creek offers more amenities for your child! Most daycares do not offer breakfast, but they do ... and not just cereal... HOT breakfast. The curriculum is wonderful! My child knows her numbers and colors in Spanish. From the Directors to the individual teachers, everyone is always open to suggestions or attending to an issue you may have. I've never had any concerns that could not be addressed and/or corrected. My child has been enrolled almost 2 years and I couldn't be happier.
I've loved Oak Creek since my daughter started there when she was 18 months old, she's 8 years old now and we are just as happy with our Oak Creek family now as we were when she first started. We chose Oak Creek because they offered the most reasonable cost of care with the highest quality of service; that's a combination most child care facilities find difficult to achieve. Yet for all the years we known them, they've continued to provide excellent care and offer prices beyond compare; not only that, but they exceed expectations by simply being awesome. I would encourage anyone to join the Oak Creek family!
Not sure what the previous post was about, but that is completely inaccurate. Both of my kids have gone here, one still does, and love it. My kids have been very attached to their teachers because of the interaction and love that is shown to them. Yes, there are high school kids that are in the classrooms, but mostly during the afternoons and almost always with a regular teacher there. There are the usual issues in day care such as biting, hitting, toy-stealing, etc but these are toddlers- they are going to do that anywhere. I always get called when my kids are injured by another child and immediately advised at pickup if mine was the aggressor. As for watching the cameras, that has to be done in the office- and those were only recently installed. I have mentioned to many people that they should bring their kids here. Bible stories, letters of the week, themes, etc and YES my kids have learned many things there. Extracurriculars such as gymnastics and dance. Special events like the Tooth Fairy for dental week, in-house pumpkin picking, fire truck visit, etc. My only complaint is the parking lot is too small at rush hour!
Looks great on the outside but their "curriculum" is a joke. Their toys are basically broken pieces of things and non educational. Their "music time" consists of the TEENAGE/highschool "teachers" turning on a radio and sitting down on the floor while the kids act out of control . No discipline at all. I watched the classroom setting for about ten minutes one day (there are Camaras in the classes) and the two teenage teachers were sitting against the wall with kids just running everywhere . I observed a child take away a toy from my son right in front of the teacher and wasnt even spoken to about it . It was just looked over. I have a bachelors degree in child education along with a teachers degree and this is just not a facility that offers any sufficient educational strategies for young children ( the most important stage to learn right and wrong I must mention ) . My 2 year old son cried everyday pulling in the parking lot. After removing him from here he immediately started a Mother's Day out program and now starts clapping every time we pull in the parking lot exclaiming "Yayyyy school !!!" THAT SAYS ENOUGH when your child is basically cueing you on how terrible an experience at this daycare is. Oh and the staff was so nice until un-enrollment . The main lady who has worked there 18 years and has all her daughters highschool friends running the place didn't say one word to me but instead smirked and walked past me on my sons last day. DON'T PAY IN ADVANCE because your child will not like it and they won't return any funds except for two weeks if your lucky!!
We havent been here a week yet but so far Im so very grateful I found this place. I was in the process of applying for Child Care Assistance and they offered to look over my application and send it in! Then suprised me with a discounted rate for my kids....I was so happy I started crying. I never told them I need help paying but now I dont need to get a loan to pay for child care. The staff seems very helpful and answers all my questions and I have a lot as my son may have aspergers. Two other day cares turned my down because of that possibility. Things happen for a reason and I now know why i was brough here. Thank You all!
