I needed a bunch of electrical work down, rewiring and a new main electrical panel, Empire Heating and Air Conditioning was out serving my air conditioner when I noticed that that do electrical repairs as well. I set an appointment for Oscar to come out and give me an estimate.

He showed up on time and gave me a reasonable estimate that I accepted. He had some helpers with him and they rewired my garage and put in a new main electrical panel in a single day. It looked to be a clean job, but when the inspector came out he failed the job because the backyard was on a GFCI circuit.

I thought, here we go. Typical electrician now the price is going to go up.

I was pleasantly surprised when Oscar came back out and verified that the backyard circuit was tied into the garage circuit which was on a GFCI breaker. Oscar called the inspector and he passed it without even coming out again to my home.

No extra monies and good work too. Empire Electrical deserves the best reviews ever.

I just had a duct cleaning performed by another contractor and discovered that the air conditioning system was icing up and dripping through my ceiling causing damage. The duct cleaning company said they don't work on air conditioning so I went online and found www.empirecares.com.



Justin came out and found that the found was directly related to the duct cleaning company. The duct cleaning brushes actually tore out the inner liner to my ducting. Justin fixed the problem and then noticed that the Freon pressures were not correct. He performed a Coolmaxx air conditioning survey and discovered that the furnace wasn't moving enough airflow. The problem was the evaporator coil was block with dirt. I just had the system cleaned 2 days before!



Long story short the duct cleaning company did give me the money back for the cleaning, after I threatened them, but they won't pay for the repairs or the ceiling. In the future I am just going to call Empire and have them clean my ducts rather than the carpet cleaning guys.

Empire really helped me out. I had another company, I will call them XYZ Plumbers, come to my home to fix a leak under the concrete. They sold me on this epoxy lining to fix the slab leak. They fix the line without breaking open any concrete, which was good, but the next week the line started leaking again. I called them out and they told me that the epoxy lining didn't work so I would have to pay to have the line hammered up. Another $2500. I said no way. They refused to refund my money.

After explaining my situation to me they gave me a print out from the manufacturer for the epoxy that describes how it is to be used and the procedure for installing it. Epoxy cannot be used per the manufacturer for sealing water leaks. They found the leak (I just pointed it out and they confirmed it) and then they offered to reroute the water line overhead.

Empire finished the entire job in just a few hours and the entire bill was less than ½ what the epoxy lining cost and no flooring damage. Jim from Empire called the other company owner an explained the situation to him. I received my money back in full the next day.
