I am so sorry that Ethan Allen...

I am so sorry that Ethan Allen is closing so many stores. I also have seen the negative things said about this company. Several years ago almost 10 years to be exact., I went to a party, it was a friend I had not seen in 25 years. I had just moved recently to the state of Maryland in which he and family now resided. I was impressed at the furniture. It was from Ethan Allen. I purchased living room furniture for my new home. I was told 14 weeks that I had to wait. I was a tad bit suprised. Usually it takes 6 to 8 weeks. I was very pleased when I received it. It was made very well. It was a wait well deserved. I purchased it from the Garden City store. I had moved from LI to Maryland at that time.I am saddened of the closing of the stores, and that they are not making most of the furniture.any more.
