Pawnshops: 10 Things to Know »
Most people think of pawn stores as a way to make cash quickly or a place to buy an inexpensive ring. In reality, they're a lot more complex than simple buy-and-sell transactions…
Around 10pm I went to giant the north 491. I went inside to pay as I told the girl TYRA (employee) that I needed ten for gas and one banana 99 she told me. Your drunk I can smell it off of you. I stood there in questions if she was talking to me or the person behind me? As for a few secs standing there in question. I responded back to trya. Excuse me? She then said again ur drunk I can't sell to you. I responded back. I'm sorry but I haven't been drinking. Because I haven't I was at work all day on my feet I just wanted to buy my 99 banana go home put my jammies on open my 99 banana n relax n watch TV. Now my night sucks because of that girl trya plus the other older lady that was working with TYRA was just standing there giggling. It was horrible. I just wanted to go home and Relax!!!! Theses employees Tyra the other older lady need to calm down. Be professional. I mean we pay them. I feel so humiliated!!! How they handle things. not because of my 99 banana But because 1. TYRA was talking loud. All the other customers heard.2 the other employee was giggling about it looking at TYRA. 3 when asked for her name she ignored me and helped the next customers. I had to ask the other employee for it. As I walked out she finally said MY NAME IS TYRA!!Wow!! This is so horrible you have employees like this. I feel bad. I hope I see something out of this. You really made me feel humiliated n you ruined my relaxing evening.
Always delicious, a great atmosphere, friendly staff, just a tip for newbies, you order and pay when you first come in... there are menus on the counter. You get your drink yourself and you can help yourself to chips and salsa. It really is awesome!! it's like being at Grandmas and Grandpas House haha
I ate there two times in the past year and their food was awful. It had no flavor I ordered steak with a type of potatoes. The portion amount was really small. The steak was tough and the onions in the potatoes were burned like rubber bands. I could not eat them at all. The toast was not hot and the only thing any good was the orange juice. I should have turned the food back but I was a guest of some body else. Do not go out of your way to eat here.
The restrooms were very clean and seemed to be serviced regularly. I was not able to fill my RV up because I was approached by a Native American that wanted money and I told him no. He got very aggressive and said that I could get jacked up because I was on the reservation and I wasn't showing him any respect. I was having problems with my RV and didn't have the time to deal with him but he wouldn't leave me alone. He made me uncomfortable and I will never stop in Gallop again let alone this station. They need to monitor people who harrass their customers, I have had this happen before at gas stations down the road and thought this one was safe. This is the first time I felt threatened. I am a retiree and do not need this kind of abuse. I am also a New Mexican native but not an American Indian.
