this was a very enjoyable experience, as much as a service repair can be. It was very easy to setup an appointment for the upcoming weekend. I was disappointed that the email I got about the appointment said the repair person would be there from 8am to 5pm Saturday. Then, I saw that the Sears Repair website would provide updates on Saturday on the exact time that the repair person would be onsite. I got a call when the repair person was on their way to my house, They arrived and had everything they needed to repair my riding lawn mower. The warranty work that he did would have cost more than the extended warranty cost me so I saved money.
I'm going to extend my warranty for another year because of the fine service I received.
I AM A RETIRED PARTS AND SERVICE MANGER WITH 33 YEARS AT SEARS. I PURCHASED A GAS GRILL AND ALSO THE MA. THE WELD BROKE IN THE BODY OF THE GRILL AND IT STARTED TO COME APART I CALLED SEARS AND THEY SERVICE TECH CAME OUT AND TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD COST MORE TO REPAIR THAN TO REPLACE THAT WAS IN NOV. OR THE FIRST PART OF DEC. IT IS NOW THE 18TH OF JAN AND I STILL DON'T HAVE THE GRILL REPAIRED. I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WOULD BE A CHARGE TO REPAIR BECAUSE THE DAMAGE WAS FROM RUST. THE DAMAGE IUS NOT FROM RUST. AND IT LOOKS LIKE A CASE FOR SMALL CLAIMS COURT, BECAUSE I BOUGHT A MA AND YOU ARE NOT GOING TO REPAIR IT UNDER THE MA TERMS..
