No matter whether an accident involved a freshly licensed teen or an experienced driver, knowing what to do (or not do) is essential to bouncing back.
When frigid winter days have you longing for spring showers and their magical flowers, there is no need to suffer in silence.
I was referred to Eddie Davis Automotive by a friend who I trust. My first visit was to have them work on our company vehicle an 2005 International box truck. . every one made me feel like family. They were prompt the work was done right and on time. They have since repaired other problems with the old truck and now are our main P.M. mechanic. I own a 2004 dodge ram pickup and have used their services on several problems that have come up.They give me a fair estimate and the work was done promptly with no surprises and done right. They returned it cleaner than I left it. I would highly recommend Eddie Davis for all your personal and commercial vehicles. They will fix the problem and put a smile on your face.
Predatorial business. They only care about your money. They came around my condo and they broke plants and bushes. They came inside and left dirt everywhere. When I complained to the office they would not reply and I asked to speak to manage and after many attempts they transfer me to one guy who was not the manager. They only care about money and not about their clients. I have dealt with pest companies over the years and never had issues. They are rude and not friendly.
This company and employees are the best I have ever dealt with in Gainesville, this company will treat you right and do a great job. Please check them out you will not be disappointed.Jim D.
RIP OFF. If you need anything other than tires steer clear of these guys. I towed my truck in to get a diagnostic because my truck quit running and after 24hrs they called me and said it would be $1925 to repair a ton of unessessary components. They recommended 4 oygen sensors, a new mass air flow sensor, 8 spark plugs, fuel system tune up, etc. if you take their parts price and divide by 3 youll be somewhere in the neighborhood of the actual price. For example they wanted $27.45 per spark plug! Which were readily available at the auto part store for $8.99, the mass air flow sensor they wanted $256 i found online for $81. I chose to tow my truck out of there and take a look my self, I replaced the spark plugs and bought an $8 can of mass air flow cleaner and she's running strong. They have ripped my mother off time and time again ($6000 in the last 2years). They had the nerve to tell me to call her and ask for help when I told them all I had was $400-500. I was happy they didn't take that money from me because end the end they wanted to rip me off for $1925 And I spent about $100 on the plugs and cleaner. Worst comes to worst if I have another issue I'll be doing the sensors myself. These guys will rip you off. Stick to a mom and pop place or order some parts and pull up some youtube videos and do it yourself before you give your hard earned money to these guys. I'm sure you'd rather go on a vacation than get pour all your extra money into unecessary repairs
Easy to deal with showed up quick got the job done at a very affordable price would give him more stars if I could but 5 stars is the max
Hi Folks. My name is Joe De Leonardo and I wanted to say to David and Monica Sesco the Toro HD 54" zero turn lawn mower that I bought from Ten Little Engines is the best mower for what I need. I was originally looking at a Poulon zero turn I had scene a but I had reservations on making that purchase. I was at Ten Little Engines and asked David a few questions about the Poulon. He gave me answer's that I felt comfortable with. He was honest, sincere and professional. So then I asked about a few mower he had in stock. There is a nice inventory of mowers in the yard like Hustlers and Toro's. Looked at 5 or 6 that I liked and would fit my budget. I asked David some more questions and left. There was no pressure to sell. I went home and thought about what my needs were and I came back about a month later with my daughter and we looked, sat in and talked about which one we thought would be good. We told David and he went over the options, accessories and monthly payment. I settled on the Toro HD Titan 54" with the attachment of a hanger for my weed eater, hanger for a bucket, hanger for a blower and a canopy for 150.00 which was in my budget. I have 5 acres to cut and its no problem getting it done. Its fast, easy and very comfortable with the seat that is just like a seat in a tractor trailor. The only problem I do have is that I can't get my wife off the mower.!! So if your in the market for a mower or need service Ten Little engines is where you need to go. They work on anything, mowers, boats, motorcycles, go-carts, weed eaters, chainsaws, scooters. If it has a motor it gets fixed good and fast. Mechanics are top notch, service desk is friendly and there is no high pressure to sell. David and Monica and the rest of the team will make you feel like family and treat you as such. Thanks David for a great experience and a great mower. :)
Great service nice staff and very fair prices. Great place and a nice selection. We like the toys! Better prices and a really good service department.
The best tire place I have ever been to, would highly recommend. I was towed here after getting a sporadic flat and although they had just closed (got there just after 2 pm on a Saturday), the manager Bobby was more than accommodating, extremely knowledgeable, and polite. He suggested I leave it there for the weekend until they opened up on Monday, and that I would be the first priority on Monday morning. Sure enough, I received a phone call at 8:00 on Monday morning from Bobby, asking what I would like him to do, and it was all taken care of by the time I had finished Monday's classes. Instead of just getting one new tire, I decided that I was so impressed with their amazing prices and extraordinary service that I wanted to replace all of my tires here, and Bobby was nice enough to not charge me a dime until the next time I return. As a college student with limited funds, and even just as a human being, I could not be happier with the service I received, and will receive in the future, from Tire Outlet. Affordable, intelligent, thoughtful, and gracious, Bobby and the rest of the staff are honest people and I look forward to returning for all of my future tire needs!
Tire Kingdom is a ripoff. Tire Kingdom had done $4000.00 work that was not done wrong. We took the truck back to two Tire kingdom company in Jax and LC. We told them that we had already got that work done. We are elderly and felt that we were ripped off. We filed complaints but the head office was unprofessional and nasty. We took it back to Newberry which the parts was under warranty they stated that its something else. We had already let two Tire Kingdom company look at it before taking it back. Oh, its something else, that sounds fishy and it would cost us 1.500 more. We have given Tire Kingdom at lot of business over the years. We will never give them our business again. Stay away from Tire Kingdom if you don't want to be ripoff. I guess they are trying to stay in business by being dishonest and doing poor work that you will have to keep bringing your car back so they could make money. We will tell everyone our story on how we got ripped off by Tire Kingdom on Newberry Road.
I went there initially because they had the lowest price oil change of the major chains. i was pleasantly surprised by there "no tricks" approach. Chris the manager was super nice and honest, as when the the results of the inspection pretty much matched with what i knew needed to be fixed. He also gave me an excellent quote on changing a catalytic converter on my wife's car. I even met the mechanic and was impressed with him also. I took the wife's car in of course for its oil change the next week. I will definitely be back for some of those repairs. Great shop especially compared to some other "scam" shops in the area. Highly recommended!
Nature's beauty can be seen everywhere through landscape designs. Not everyone has a green thumb or the knowledge to coordinate a landscaping plan that's aesthetically pleasing and meets the unique needs of the property. Landscape contractors can help add curb appeal to the exterior of your home or strategize how plants should be laid out.
Generally, landscape contractors create or refurbish outdoor spaces by planting trees, lawns, shrubs and flowers, and constructing paths, decks and patios. These professionals will generally discuss client requirements, how the landscaped area will be used, and the client's preference for certain styles. After this initial meeting, landscapers will select the materials they need and start carrying out their construction and planting plans.
With the number and variety of properties that need landscaping services, it should come as no surprise that there are many different providers to choose from. In fact, there are nearly 500,000 active landscaping businesses in the U.S. This demand is driven by the continued growth in domestic housing markets. Steady disposable income has also been a major reason for households to outsource their yard care.
Landscaping contractors have a wide variety of techniques that they can use to spruce up your yard. Here are some of the most common landscaping attributes that you can find at most homes:
Homeowners and businesses may stray from annuals and biennials due to planning and costs associated with them - instead, look to fill your garden with perennials. These plants return every year, making them a budget-friendly option. You may choose to do a one-color floral garden or a combination of colorful perennials. Look at plants like allium, buddleia, coneflower, sage and veronica for inspiration when choosing perennials.
Homeowners can mix and match different kinds of trees to enhance their yard. Evergreens like spruce, magnolia, holly and firs keep their leaves year-round. Deciduous trees, on the other hand, have leaves that change color and fall off in colder months. Pair different types of trees together for ample yard coverage.
If you want to guide guests around your yard, try using pathways. You can dig shallow holes to make the stones flush with the ground, providing an appealing walkway. Pavers can also be arranged in geometric patterns to cover unused ground space or bare earth.
Landscape contractors can also build a structure that will enhance your yard. Perhaps you decide to put in a koi pond, or that you want to build out your patio. Landscape contractors have the knowledge, tools and design expertise to carry out these construction projects.
Homeowners and business managers should call landscaping contractors as these professionals have the tools and expertise to carry out jobs such as:
Planting Trees and Flowers
Landscapers are often called out to roll out sod as well as plant trees and flowers. These contractors have the design aesthetic to help you plan the best layout for your particular space. Landscapers can also tell you if certain plants aren't cut out for your climate. Not only will you get a beautiful yard, but you'll also have foliage that will last over the years.
Sprinkler systems are beneficial for a variety of locations, but many DIY irrigation projects can lead to incorrect installations. Some problems include poor-quality components, improper pipe sizing, too many sprinkler-heads per zone, and inadequate head spacing. These systems are difficult to install, and a DIYer can easily make mistakes. Landscape contractors can situate sprinklers methodically to maintain your plants and ensure that the irrigation system is set up correctly.
Building Retaining Walls
If you have a retaining wall or are putting one in, proper installation is crucial. Landscapers see issues like lack of proper base preparation, unattractive wall blocks, mitered cuts at corners and no drainage chimney installed behind the wall. To prevent your wall from crumbling, call a landscape contractor to construct one.
Besides putting in plants and trees, building decks and patios are the most common jobs for a landscape contractor. These professionals have the best materials and tools available to create the look that you desire. DIY projects can end with structurally unsound builds, requiring additional time and money to fix the issues. Good landscapers will ensure a solid result that melds with the rest of your landscape design.
Homeowners and contractors can draw a lot of inspiration from landscaping styles used all over the world. There are some limitations to your options, such as what plants you can use based on the climate you live in, how much space you have to work with and any homeowners-association compliance regulations. However, once you address these main areas, landscaping design is only as restricted as your imagination.
Many homeowners are starting to use the Mediterranean design style for their landscapes. This option is becoming popular around the world because it takes advantage of new varieties of palm trees and plants that conform to different climates. The diversity of this flora is what makes this approach so appealing.
Southwest Landscape Design
If you live in an arid region, this style is likely going to be the best choice for your landscaping. Using a mix of garden decor and plants, Southwest design aims to make the most of plants that retain water well and can handle dry, warm climates. Pathways, patios and lawn ornaments can help cover the space and complement available flora.
Japanese Garden Style
Japanese-style landscapes are known for providing a serene space. This design uses a number of techniques to make the area look bigger than it is and to create a calm, beautiful atmosphere.
No matter which style you choose, there are some main considerations that should go into your design. Homeowners need to anticipate equipment access needed to create a deck or patio, as some tools may be too big for the space. They will also want to start by choosing a focal point. It should stand out but still be connected to the rest of the landscape. Accenting your home with thoughtful plantings to highlight its features will add curb appeal and enhance its characteristics.
Landscape work is not cheap, so it's in your best interest to make sure that it's done to your requirements and that you get the best contractor to do the job. Consider these factors before hiring a contractor:
Every good contractor should have a list of recently completed jobs that you can see in their portfolio. They should also have a list of references that you can contact, or properties that you can see in person. Feedback from these sources can reveal necessary information about the quality of the contractor's work, dependability, responsiveness and capacity to carry out your particular project.
Certification and Memberships
Landscape contractors also should have relevant certifications from reputable programs, like Certified Landscape Technician. You should also ask for a list of professional activities, affiliations and awards to gauge interest in professional growth and commitment to excellence. Contractors may be part of the International Society of Arboriculture, The Irrigation Association and numerous other organizations that are committed to providing better training and education in the industry.
Homeowners should require that the contractor submit certificates verifying compliance with safety, insurance, workers' compensation and drug and alcohol testing programs. This will give you peace of mind that the contractor has gone through all the steps under industry regulations.
Pricing and Billing
Homeowners should know how much they'll need to pay for the contractor's service as well as how they will be billed for this work. Ask about any design fees, if quoted prices are fixed or estimates, and what the payment process will be. Clarifying these items in the beginning will prevent any surprise expenses.
States have different requirements regarding landscape-contractor operations. Check the specific regulations for your area, and verify that your contractor has the necessary licenses. These may include a state contractor's license, pesticide license, CDL driver's license and license to sell and purchase nursery stock. It's important to ensure that your landscape contractor complies with established rules before beginning your project.
When it comes to working with landscaping materials, safety must be the top priority. There is a wide range of services within the industry, many of which come with a risk of injury. Employers must conduct all required training in a language and vocabulary that workers can understand. Training must demonstrate the hazards of operating certain machinery, like stone cutters and splitters, as well as how to use them appropriately. It's important to verify that your landscape contractor has taken the necessary steps to fully train its personnel and that the appropriate safety precautions are in place.
