I went to many places to cash my payroll check but they had trouble finding the check issuer. When I went to this place, the clerk was smart and efficient. He charged me low fees and cashed my check. Great service.

They are rip offs and could care less about getting new customers! I went in to cash a check that was issued from someone whose account was with Bank of America. They were going to charge me $8 to cash a $52 check. Publix in the same plaza charged me $1. I'll never support Bank of America, they support everything that's wrong in this world, especially if it lines their pockets.
So, as if reordering was not insulting enough, now my direct deposit is being held hostage. I am the only employee in my department who banks with Compass and I am the only one who has not received my direct deposit payroll this week. My employer sent an email stating we would be paid early due to the holiday (New Years), and all of my co-workers received their direct deposits early this morning. I am the only one who did not. I contacted our payroll department and they stated they had already released the funds so to check with my bank (Compass). I called Compass and I was told that they do in fact have the funds but that my employer gave them a release date of 1/2/15. This is in fact incorrect and why would I be the ONLY employee whose pay was set for the 2nd when everyone else in the entire county received theirs on 12/31/14? My employer stated that once they release it that it is up to my bank to get it into my account, yet Compass refuses to release it. When I asked to speak to a customer service supervisor I was told they were busy and would get back to me. Guess what, have not heard back. I have been told that a bank holding payroll funds is fraud. Any attorney's monitoring here?
I am originally from Pennsylvania and I have been with PNC Bank for many years over 10 years and I have never had such horrible service from any of the banks that I have been to except for this one. There so slow and almost always only have one teller. Everytime I have gone in the lazy teller doesn t want to look up anything and constantly sends me to the ATM I finally decided not to deal with her today and there ATM wouldn t read my card so I had to go in anyway. I told them about the ATM and they said that I needed to order a card and pay 7.50 for it. I was about to open two more accounts with them but after having to deal with this branch I think I just might have to change banks !!!
this is one of the slowest bank locations I have ever been too. it took 30 min for only 1 car to move through drive through n 50 min for me to get to have my turn after 2 cars. horrible service
