I went to Awa for feed in cornrows. I was extremely satisfied! She was very accommodating to my schedule, professional, and the environment was peaceful. I have very thick 4c natural hair and she had my hair looking smooth and neat. I will go back to her!
She caused my friend a hematoma under her eye while she was doing procedure in a hurry and charged her 1800 dollars .she had no courtesy to call her back and help her . She refused to refund her the money back . I guess this nurse has no ide of any m rival knowlege except making money
I chose Kim Cupp to do permanent makeup on my eyebrows even though she charges twice as much as everyone else because I had already paid a $50 consultation fee and she seemed to have the required credentials (except after 8 years of doing this, you would think she would have more than 3 before and after photos). At my appointment she did not even draw on my eyebrows. I asked her, "Are you going to draw them on first?" She said, "What for?" That should have been a warning for me. After my initial appointment my eyebrows looked VERY dark and I was a little concerned but I knew it would fade after the first peel. Well, one week later after my brows peeled, there was a navy blue color underneath! They also did not match because the right one was higher than the left and they did not start at the same place in the middle and the thickness was not the same and there was a dot of ink OUTSIDE of the brow line (clearly a mistake). When I talked to her on the phone I complained that the color did not even look BROWN and that it was supposed to be a medium brown but it looks blue. She said I had to wait 4 weeks before seeing the real result. I have had permanent makeup done to my eyebrows 3 times in the past and the color is darker the first week but brown is brown, I have never had the COLOR change. Just as expected, 4 weeks pass, my brows are still like a navy blue underneath. I return to her hoping she can fix it but not really putting a lot of faith in her because after paying $600, there were too many mistakes. I was willing to give her a chance but this time I was going to be upfront about the color and shape and MAKE her draw on the brows! After only a few minutes of going over colors, she seemed to think I was not happy with anything. I told her that I didn’t want to be stuck with something for another 4 weeks that I am not happy with. I asked her if she could fix the “dot” and she said no, the brow needs to be extended to the dot. I told her NO, the dot is a mistake and needs to be corrected (if the brow was extended any more, it would have been way too long). She got a little upset and said that I am just not happy with anything and she feels like if she gave me a million dollars, I still wouldn’t be happy. I told her I don’t think that is true. She said maybe we shouldn’t do this, or should try at a different time. She said this wasn’t working. I reminded her how she told me on the phone that she doesn’t just do one appointment and then that’s it, but that she is willing to do it over and over and over until it is exactly what I want, and here we are, only at the 2nd appointment, and she is already blowing me off! I thought she was acting very unprofessional. Clearly she is phony and was not telling me the truth on the phone. So I asked for a refund, and she said in 8 years she has never had this happen, and gave me a refund of $300. I guess I am “lucky” to get that.
Erica at Sarah’s Hair Studio recently did my hair (plus 6 other people in my wedding party) for my wedding a few weeks ago. Everyone’s hair turned out beautifully and I absolutely loved mine! Erica is so great at creating the perfect style based on your taste and ideas; she is also so sweet and such a pleasure to be around. Some of my bridesmaids didn’t have a specific style in mind and she created stunning looks! My hair looked so great in the mirror and in all of our pictures and it stayed perfect throughout the entire wedding. I didn’t want to take it down at the end of the night! Erica was so helpful throughout the process and answered all of my questions. I will definitely go back to her for hairstyling for any other events in the future or even just for a night out. Amazing talent!
I love Total Image and Tina. The prices are great and she knows what she is doing both by color and by cut. She has always worked around my schedule as I work a ton of hours. I even now have my husband going to Total Image and he see her daughter. Don't be fooled by the location. This place by far is the best place to go.
The work was average, and staff was friendly. However since they did not have the price list, they tend to overcharge customers or they charge however much they want. One time I had a half foiled done but they charged me full foiled. Basically they were unprofessional in that aspect
BEWARE RipOff! Was quoted over the phone $110 for highlights plus $35 hair cut. Was there Friday 3/18/16,had an appointment at 6pm got took back to chair at 6:30pm asked stylist for her options on red highlights to show me some colors of red her response I can't decide for you. Then I said ok just do dark brown #6 she brought me#6 red/brown and #5 red/ brown so went with #6. After highlighted hair sitting under dryer it was 15 mins to 9 and she asked if she could just dry the top of my hair to show me the color n send me on my way. I said no dry my hair , she asked me to pay before it was completed so they could cash out for the night she added $40 more dollars to my quote. I was livid!! well she cut my hair started to dry till was damp n frizzy. She didn't completely dry my hair. Left with damp hair full of frizz !! $185 later!! I will never go back!! EVER! Ripoff!! I have never in my life been charged that much to have my hair cut n highlighted!!
My daughter Hannah (13) had her hair cut at the oaks mall location on 2-2-16. She went in with long blonde hair past her bra strap, asked to have it cut to right past her shoulders and ended up with a literal hack cut ( no style,no shape, uneven) above her shoulders.my daughter is devastated and has been crying on and off since we left and got up crying this morning. Doesn't even want to go to school. No matter what I say to her I can't comfort her. Don't know the stylists name but he has blue hair.
Ruthi is amazing! I have had my hair foiled at several salons now and she has done the best job by far. She understood my vision exactly and knew how to execute it. She also fixed someone else's shabby work. Do yourself a favor and go see Ruthi!
