Gator Laundry on N Main near the old Winn Dixie - DO NOT GO THERE!!! Huge sign on the front door - last load at 9 pm. Got there at 8:05, unloaded 3 loads of laundry in the pouring rain, to be told that the little teeny sign by the door says last load at 8 pm. What??? Chick says, "I've been trying to get the owner to fix that." The washers actually stop accepting new loads at 8. They won't even turn on. I was SO pissed. The chick said I could try, they might NOT have turned off yet. Like I'm really gonna put detergent and $2 in the machine JUST to see if it works, then drag a soap-covered load of already-wet laundry somewhere else. (Two loads were already wet because my dryer broke). So I loaded everything back up in the pouring rain and went somewhere else. Fix your sign!!!!!!
Probably one of the best laundry services in town. They don't charge as much as others! I love them and would use them again.
I hate dry cleaners. They charge me a lot of money for something that I can do anyway, and I can usually do it better than they can. With that said, Greenhouse is actually a pretty good place.First off, they do a really good job on the basics. One of my biggest issues with my last cleaners was the fact that they creased the cuffs on my french cuff shirts, and T& C leaves them nice and straight. Furthermore I noticed they have replaced some worn buttons on my shirts without me needing to point them out (always seems to be an issue with other cleaners I try). Lastly, echoing other member comments, they are super friendly. The only thing keeping me from giving a 5-star is that prices are a little high. However, for the aforementioned pluses as well as the great location relative to my apartment, I find that it's worth the price.
