Well, I decided to try this place (even though I'd read some lack-luster reviews) because I have a few friends who liked it, it's a bit closer to home, and the website made it look so luxurious. So, I bypassed my favorite nail salon and decided to try this one. Sadly, I was not impressed. First of all, it's really small, but luckily it wasn't busy at 3:30 PM on a Monday. However, the Starbucks next door was hoppin', and the parking lot was crowded and hectic. The place is really small, and they only have 3 nail stations and 4-5 pedicure chairs. While I chose a color for my nails, the technician started the water for my pedicure and headed to the back, I assumed to gather supplies. After searching through the relatively small nail polish selection, I got myself into the massage chair and figured out how to work it. When she came back out, she put a scoop of some kind of powder into the water, but it was readily available in the salon, and she didn't have any other supplies, so I am not sure why she went to the back without helping me get settled for my pedicure. And, she never even asked if I wanted a manicure - something they always coax me into even though I go in with quicker intentions. This time, however, I could have used one. I got the "Straight Up" pedicure because it is advertised as taking 30 minutes, and I still had other errands to run afterward. It was speedy and cheap (on sale for $22), but the dry skin exfoliation was basically non-existent (she briefly used something like a rectangular flat emory board on my heels that did not begin to remove the dry skin). In addition, the massage was about 2 minutes per leg, and the hot towels listed in the description were never even brought out. And to top it off, I was never even offered a water, let alone a complimentary drink, while I was there - one of the fun perks I was looking forward to at their salon (the picture on their website looks awesome!). In fact, I didn't see a soft drink or cocktail anywhere. The nail technician did a fair job on the polish - I'll clean up the little bit on my skin after I write this review and before I head out in my flip flops - and it was certainly quicker and better than I could have done myself. All in all, I am glad that I stopped by to check it out, but I won't be back. I'll drive the extra 15 minutes to head back to Blossom Nails in Frisco.
I agree with previous reviewers, you get what you pay for. Zen is certainly more expensive then a usual nail salon but for that it offers a unique combination of hospitality and expert services in a calming and quiet environment. Very relaxing.. I am in Dallas for business about 1-2 times a …
I have been going to this nail salon for 6 years. The service is great, the atmosphere is relaxing and Kelly does an amazing job with my nails! I have never had my acrylics or the gel last more than 2 weeks - the new dipping powder method lasts three weeks - no breaks, chipping:) I would high…
My husband and I have been here several times since new ownership this year. We couldn't be happier with the service we receive. Yes, they are a slightly more expensive than other salons but the service is far superior. We are always treated with respect and listened to. From the moment we w…
I have been in Frisco for over 3 years now. I have been to MANY of the nail salons in this city...TRUST ME - NONE ARE LIKE STYLE NAILS! I use to live on the west side of town, went to several over there - now I live near Preston and El Dorado, been to several on this side and up/down Preston Rd…
I thought pedicures were just for women, and man (no pun intended) was I wrong. I received a great pedicure at Nail Charisma and now I get them done on regular bases. We have fun; we laugh and have great conversation. I challenge all men to try it. CG

I just moved to Frisco and I was looking for a salon close to my new place. I decided to try Spa Nails 7. The staff is really friendly. It's a smaller salon, so you don't get lost in the crowd. They actually cut nails properly and do a great job painting! Kathie, the owner, is always there. Thei…

The lady owner here are very rude. The only reason why I still continue to go there because of the late hours and my nail tech lena, she very gentle, perfectionist and she didn't cut me.
If you are black, don't go here. You will look worse than when you came in. I definitely had to restyle my hair when I got home, and the lady put so much hairspray, which I told her my hair did not need so much; my hair felt dirty from hairspray when I left. Don't let newbies touch your hair, yo…
I have been going here for a year. I actually drive by several nails salons on my way to this one, but it is worth it. Every time I have gone I get wonderful service. I will say my reviews are for the spa pedicure only. I rarley get a manicure (I have my own nails and do them myself). The massage is always great - I have taken friends who typically go to other salons and they have all commented on how long the massages are. I usually call ahead since the salon is popular and can get busy. Sometimes you have to wait so I try and avoid going in on the weekends. My pedicures have always been wonderful and I always leave with great looking toes. I do splurge and get the callous remover and even though I think they have a wide selection of colors, I always bring my own polish (in case I need to do a touch up in between pedicures). I stopped going to other nail salons because it wasn't relaxing. I was constantly being bugged to get a flower, get a longer massage, get a salt scrub, etc. When I go to this salon, I don't get bombarded with a billion requests. The peple are polite and friendly, although I admit that when I get the massage I close my eyes and relax and I prefer not to chat the entire time. Reasonably priced and well worth it!
I have been in Frisco for over 3 years now. I have been to MANY of the nail salons in this city...TRUST ME - NONE ARE LIKE STYLE NAILS! I use to live on the west side of town, went to several over there - now I live near Preston and El Dorado, been to several on this side and up/down Preston Rd.. The service that you get for the cost (Comparable to all of them) is far better at Style Nail! You get a neck message (usually @ 10+ min.) w/ever manicure or pedicure or both. All of the employees are good! This is a very popular salon on the week ends. I recommend you either go early on Sat. a.m. or earlier during the week, especially by Thurs. Sometimes during peak times, you will have to wait and that can get a little nerve wreaking! So, just try to time it - it will be worth it! DON'T GO TO THE NAIL PLACE on Teel Parkway by the P.O. Awful...and the new one by the W/M on Preston and Main...OMG, that was the worst ever!!! I paid the same there as I do at Style Nail for a mani/pedi and it was awful!!! I was in/out in @ 30 min...no massage, no time taken, no nothing! UGH!! Anyway, go and enjoy Style Nail Spa and say HI to Lisa :-) (The owner)
My bridesmaids and I went here on the day of my wedding, and we were delighted with the kind service. I tried to tip really well at the end. I was not easy to deal with, because I wanted to pay for some of my bridesmaids--- I know this made the billing complicated for them, but they just took it all in stride and accommodated us. This made it easy for me to give my bridesmaids a little extra thank you. Also, I had several cuts on my feet and hands from working with flowers the day before. Plus, I had green paint on my fingers and they worked their magic! They were so gentle with my cuts, and treated me with specialized care. I really liked the gel treatment on my nails, because I can keep my real nails and it lasts for several weeks. By the end of the manicure with the gel, they took a paper towel and wiped and showed that the gel was completely dry and there was no worry of it ruining by touch. This is amazing! And did I say masssage! Much needed the day of a wedding. Plus, we brought in our own mimosas! Thank you so much Rich & Famous Nails Spa for treating us like royalty!
I agree with previous reviewers, you get what you pay for. Zen is certainly more expensive then a usual nail salon but for that it offers a unique combination of hospitality and expert services in a calming and quiet environment. Very relaxing.. I am in Dallas for business about 1-2 times a month and have been coming to Zen regularly for two years. Always have my nails done and had my haircuts here too, but they closed the hairsalon part some months ago. The staff is friendly, they serve tea during the appointments it is a very relaxing and quiet environment. Not the usual noise and chatter you know from other establishments, they really epitomized the Zen-like ambience. I think there is now a mandatory gratuity which I believe was implemented because some cheap people did not leave tips for the techs Highly recommended, I now live on the west coast and I still come here monthly during my business trips to Dallas.
So i got dragged into going to the nail salon with my wife and i wasnt very happy about it at first. We walk in and first impression is WOW, this place is amazing. Everything around the nail salon is so nice and organized. We get greeted with a huge smile and they talked about what my wife wanted and what not. Then next thing i know they talk me into getting a pedicure. I have NEVER gotten one before so i had no idea what to expect. The lady made sure i was very comfortable, asked me if i wanted a drink, and she said just relax and ill take care of you. After it was all said and done i felt amazing! I have never had anyone work on my feet like she did and hey they look good haha the staff was so helpful, the other people getting work done on their nails are all so happy. I know for sure ill be back, maybe more times than my wife haha
Huge nail salon. There must be 20+ massage pedi chairs throughout the salon. Serves wine (and soda, water). Very friendly service and they do a fantastic job. I've been here twice now and think it's my new "regular" nail spot. Easy to walk-in, even on a weekend afternoon, and have no wait. There's a lot of TV's around and magazines if you go solo and want to be entertained. Plenty of space to go with a girlfriend or even a group of friends. Not pushy as far as services go & they have coupons online that you can use for nail services. You do have to print them off and bring them in though, but the first time they allowed me to use the image on my phone. The paraffin foot treatment is a great idea; if you're considering it, go for it and you won't be disappointed.
My husband and I have been here several times since new ownership this year. We couldn't be happier with the service we receive. Yes, they are a slightly more expensive than other salons but the service is far superior. We are always treated with respect and listened to. From the moment we walk in the door we are offered a beverage, including wine and margaritas. Yes, I wish that some of the technicians spoke better english, but they always try. They have added 20 new chairs that are amazing and their gel pedicure with rock massage is absolutely amazing. I would and have recommended them to several friends, including my Pastor's wife who is now using them fulltime.
...RICH AND FAMOUS NAILS SPA IN FRISCO. Rich and Famous Nails Spa is the Best Salon!!! Excellent customer service and the best shellac nails I've ever had. I was in FRISCO for a week for work and decided to get my nails done one evening. I had trouble finding the place but that was my fault in not knowing the area. I walked in a little after 7pm and they were able to seat me right away. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I felt so relaxed. I ended up with the deluxe pedi/mani and loved it. Its been over a week and my shellac still looks like it did that night. I only wish I lived in FRISCO because this would be my go to nail salon!

They actually cut nails properly and do a great job painting! Kathie, the owner, is always there. Their service is fantastic and their prices are great. I am quite picky about nail salons and have not found worth returning to twice. I've been returning to Spa 7, four times now and have not been disappointed once!!
