K9 Bootcamp

What a great experience with Hilton Butler and family.Our GSD pup,had a few issues like biting (playfully),but with needle sharp teeth our arms were full of cuts.Counter surfing and jumping out of excitement were the other two.I knew we found our trainer, once I read Hilton's background experience training bomb sniffing dogs for the military.Everything was corrected.We were trained how to command/correct our pup.Christine was communicated the progress and sent photos.We met few of the girls and this is not only a family business,it is their love and passion to do. This is the environment I wanted to leave my dog.For a month we waited not knowing how our dog would receive us.She graduated from Basic Puppy Training and settle home like any kid coming back from college.She is wonderful and can't say enough,MONEY WELL SPENT.Needless to say, we are doing in a few months the Obedience and Advanced training courses too.Do yourself a favor,search no more for a dog trainer.I did the research.

Unlike some others who basically wrote horror stories about K9 Bootcamp/Basic, my experience with Hilton and Christine was fantastic! I sent my 8 month old shih tzu to their training camp in August. About a month before I sent him, I went to their house to get a feel for the environment that my puppy would be in and felt very confident in their abilities to work with him. My biggest concern with my puppy was making sure he was house broken because we were about to move into a new home. Christine assured me this wouldn't be an issue and even offered to keep my puppy a little longer if needed while we would be getting settled into the home. I LOVE THAT THEY TRAIN FROM A HOME...how else do you HOUSE train a dog when it's not in a HOUSE? It was a perfect idea. When I dropped off my puppy the first day, I got to meet Hilton as well who make me feel very confident about his training. I also was able to meet their daughter who came down and started playing with my puppy...this made me feel a lot better that he would be very loved while there! I did not receive any formal report cards or pictures..but only because their computer had broke and was given to an IT guy to have fixed (there is technology for you! LOL) Although I didn't receive any of the pictures, Christine was always available to talk to me about his progress. Despite what others say, she always, ALWAYS answered any and every phone call I had. After he got home, he knew some commands and was almost 100% house broken (sure he has had a few slip ups but what dog hasn't?). My puppy ended up having diarrhea when he returned home (I think it was because of the stress/excitement of coming home). Christine and Hilton contacted me multiple times to see how he was feeling and make sure he was okay. Now it has been a month since he has been home and I couldn't be happier with my puppy and his behavior... Thank you K9 Bootcamp/Basic!!!!
