The Cheesecake Factory

Ive been going to the Cheesecake Factory for years. This is the worse experience I have ever had with any restaurant....I ordered egg rolls to start they were soaked in oil & burnt on the ends...The burgers were dry & cold. The Philly cheese looked like they made it days ago. The carrot cake was awfull...The service was ok...I would suggest they attend the Chick Fila school of customer service. You guys need to get it together. This is Houston Texas we have restaurants a plenty & gourmet food trucks...Word of mouth is the best advertisement & the word is out....Shame on you!!!

This was just horrible. Here I am Googleing for cheesecake factory and I see it has 1 star. Now I am giving it one star. The wait is too damn long.

My daughter wanted her birthday party at the new Cheescake Factory at Baybrook Mall in Friendswood, so a few days before the party we (three family members, independently) called to make reservations. However, we were all told The Cheesecake Factory does NOT do reservations. We couldn’t believe it – no reservations? We all know how busy it can be, especially during Christmas Season and with its location at the mall – Wow! Then, on the morning of the party, like we all had to try again, we all called again to make reservations for the party – only again to be told they do not make reservations. Considering this was an important date for my daughter I arrived at the place an hour before the party was to start and signed in for a party of ten. Asking how long the wait was, I was told one to two hours. So I waited. The family came at the prescribed time and we waited a while longer before they told us our table was ready. It’s a good thing I got there early. I say all of this to make the point – the food there is good – not great, nothing special, so to wait under normal circumstances for an hour and a half for a simple meal is not my idea of a good time. To top it off, the kitchen service was poor. Of the ten dishes we ordered only seven came out together. The other three did not show up for another 15 minutes, about the time many of us were through with our meal. The server forgot my wife’s pasta sauce. I could go on. If it wasn’t my daughter’s request, we would not have stayed. AND I will never go to The Cheesecake Factory ever again.
