Very professional place, lovely staff and vets that truly care about your pet. I brought my beloved Boston Terrier after being beaten up by a Pitbull. They assisted me and her with as much compassion and hope as possible. Sadly my Boston didn't make it.. I am happy she was taken care of till the end by much compassionate staff and vets.

I want to tell everyone what a wonderful staff they have here. So caring and kind. I had to take my 14 year old dog in and have him put to sleep. I had a panic attack and one of the girls who works there gave me a hug and tried to calm me down. I really appreciate it!

I've had Dr Kennedy and Dr. Nagel take amazing care of my kitty. Their love for animals is amazing. Thanks!

Brought my dog into VES after she started having one seizure after another. The night Doctor eventually diagnosed she with a very rare disease that my regular vet missed. After 2 1/2 days in the hospital, multiple VES consultations with other specialists and a few phone calls to me, I brought her home. She is a new dog- lots of energy, eating well and no seizures. I will go as far to say they saved my dogs life. They were able to diagnose this very rare disorder in very short time mainly because of their experience in emergency medicine and their attention to the details we were giving them. This was a very positive experience for us and we will go back if a another emergency arises. Bob C

Veterinary Emergency Service is hands-down **THE BEST** animal ER in town!!!! The staff is efficient in getting the paperwork completed and your pet in to see the bet. The two vets I had there have routinely been nice and informative. Also they don't down to you, they explain things with regular words that make sense and not all that hard-to-follow jargon. This last time I was there,, they saved my dog's life and they couldn't have been more professional throughout the whole ordeal. They helped me get financing thru Care Credit. They kept me informed about what was happening and how my pup was doing. My pup is now as healthy as ever and owes his life to the fine staff at VES!!!!!!!

VES saved my dog's life and didnt gouge me on the price. I have an Italian mastiff and she got bloat at 12:30 am. Our Vet was Dr. Nagel.

The review by Briff is a bit misleading. All veterinary care is expensive, and Bullard-Marks is no more so that others. The receptionsits and vet techs are terrific, and Dr. Porter, the DVM, is very knowledgeable and has at least three decades of experience. This has given her the ability to diagnose problems and to confirm that diagnosis with lab work, if the human is willing to pay for that work. She is very upfront about this and does not beat around the bush. She does "mumble," but I think I may have a hearing impairment. I have been taking my cats to her for 15 years and have never been unhappy with the quality of care she provides. Sure, it is sad, when an animal goes into liver failure from eating something outside, or becomes diabetic, or developes feline leukemia, but we all (hopefully) try to give a critter a good life while we have it (and not allow a critter who has decided to not eat to be force fed just because it is adorable). Dr. Porter is pretty good at presenting options and allowing "the patient" to decide. My only "complaint" is that she doesn't have Saturday hours.

Took my puppy in to the vet for the first time and was terrified of the bill! Of course I knew the dog would be fine, it was just some allergy medication, so the only thing on my mind was the damage this cute little thing was already costing me. To my surprise it was HALF of what I expected to pay!! Never have my friends had the same luck as me, I recommend Vet Emergency Services to all my fellow pet lovers, they care about your pet as much as they do you!
