Rubber Soul is a great bike shop ! They have skilled Techs and knowledgeable Staff.
They carry a wide variety of bikes from the basic to the extreme ! From kids bikes to road even mountain bikes.
The owners are Fresno Natives, that have 20+ years experience. Ben and Rich go out of there way to take care of new and exesting customers. From New bikes to repairs, they do it all, and very well.
My only complaint is how busy the store is, lol !

I have told my friends about the great selection of products and the kind and knowledgeable staff. Their prices normally compare favorably with other shops and the service is top notch. They help me to keep the rubber side down! The best in the central valley. Ask the staff about events, repairs to your ride, advice on a new bike, bike fit, clothing, lights, what ever you need to know. Don't be shy- stop in and see these folks, whatever your cycling interest, beginner to pro, mountain to road and most stuff in between.

A great friend of mine is friends with the owners. AWESOME!!! So, I went in with him and was going to support Rubber Soul whenever in need. Well, when I went in with my buddy and my bike: my pedal was broken. Through their great knowledge, the techs were able to tell me the crank was broken and I needed a whole new set. Okay, bad luck, but thanks. So I ask the tech, what do you have in stock, I'll put it on my bike. They didn't have anything, so I said, let me research what I want and I'll be back. I go home, research online and find what I want. However, I don't know how to install it. I call Rubber Soul and ask how much for an install if I buy it online. Dude on the phone says in the rudest attitude, ""You know, if you buy online then there's no store!"". I was stunned. He says, ""You know what I mean?"" I was thinking, WTF? But okay...So I proceed and ask again. He says, ""What, the computer can't put it together for you?"" Again, stunned. Finally, the guy says, ""Okay...let's see what I can do for you."" He looks up the part I want and I tell him how much I found it for online for brand spanking new, He didn't even try to make me a deal. He just said, ""Fifty bucks to install your crankset!"" I said ""Okay"" and how long will it take? He rudely said, ""Leave it here for a week and a half to two weeks!"" WTF??? I know it doesn't take that long! Anyways, I told my buddy that I couldn't support his friends because of the rude service. I'm sure they are nice to people, but I have no idea why not to me? Because I saved over 100 bux buying online? They would have made money from my install. Maybe because of my ethnicity? Who knows... No matter which shop I go to, I'll save the extra $100 bux online. I'll pay extra for the expedition if you have it in stock. No problem there. So, thanks JENSONUSAdotCOM for saving me tons! Also, now I'm going to Sunnyside Bicycle to get my install done. They told me it's between 15 and 20 bux plus the longest to install would be overnight, but it could be same day. Sorry Rubber Soul, but you lost what could have been a great customer!
