Recently moving to Fresno, from Denver I was unaware of Indian restaurants in fresno. So I searched online and found India's Oven customer reviews really good. So taking people's word for it, I along with my wife went in for lunch buffet last wednesday. Once we got there were nicely greeted by our server. The buffet was nice and the decor was just beautiful. After having some of the food, the food was just mind blowing. The food was so good that you have to try it. I am since the time I have went last week, I am become a regular. The food, service, and the atmosphere is great. So take my advice, and go try India's Oven for yourself ignore the review below, because it is completely false, because the restaurant is family owned and they are so helpful, along with the staff. So ignore this type of comment below because there always going to be individuals, no matter what you do are always going to have complaints, like the individual below. So do what I did google, India's Oven, and the reviews you read on this site as well as on others will show you that, India's Oven is the real deal....

This restaurant may look amazing but the owners are of the idea that they know best and the customer comes last. I had been there before the rennovations and was ready to have the Indian Buffet again. But let me tell you, without going into too much detail, they are not worth it. Try Brahma Bull instead. The food is better there and the service is very kind and the prices are reasonable. Trust me, I have been looking all over town and Brahma Bull is the way to go.
My husband and I love to eat good Indian food. We have traveled throughout India and of course have enjoyed the cuisine from all parts of that magical mystical country. Tonight we wanted to have Indian so I googled Indian Restaurants in Fresno and came up with a little list and decided on India's Oven because of the positive reviews. We are just visiting Fresno and are leaving tomorrow and we will be leaving with a very good impression of India's Oven! We arrived and were seated by a very pleasant man then an equally pleasant lady came to give us water and provide menu's. There were several other patrons in the very clean pleasant surroundings and there were wonderful smells coming from the direction of the kitchen. We decided to have papadum and samosa for starters which came with a delicious sauce made from mint, green chilis, bell peppers and other tasty things along with a beautiful tamarind sauce. We ordered from the combination section of the very extensive menu...I had the Punjabi combo and he had India's Oven combo. Everything was served hot and nicely plated and it was delicious! The nann bread was excellent too! Our lovely server was attententive and polite.
As we were leaving, I asked her where I could buy the mint/chili sauce and she instantly offered to give me some! When she came back from the kitchen she had a container of each of the sauces for us to take away. We were very impressed with the meal, the service, the price and the whole experience! We will be back this way in the fall and will definitely seek out the India's Oven restaurant again for another exceptional dinner. Thanks for your time!

I am a very going person. I loved to dine in and try out new things. Recently my wife and I was going on Ashlan and Marks and my eyes got a glimpse of a Indian Resturant baring the logo Authentic Indian Cuisine. Going by I thought should I go or not, and that decision was a turning point for me. I made a u turn and before I knew it, I was standing inside. The decor was nice, not the nicest I have seen put it had a home like ambience to it. I was greeted by the waiter and was shown my seat. The waiter handed me a menu and poured me a glass of water. As I was drinking water I noticed the waiter bring out a order of papad (spiced lentil wafers) and along with a red tamarind and a green mint chutney (sauces). I was like I didn't order that, the waiter replied, sir it is complimentary this is free of charge. That moment I was awestruck like wow, first time a restaurant providing a complimentary starter. As I started to enjoy my papad I looked the menu which was so easy to read, the dish was followed with a brief description of what was added to the dish. For starters my wife and I ordered the samsosa, ( a fritter filled with lightly spiced potatoes and peas), Fish pakora (fried fish dipped into a batter with spices), and I can't forget the mango lassi. Waiting for my order I started to look around and I saw this empty space. I called the waiter and asked what is this, the waiter replied it is our banquet hall and it has a 150 - 200 people capacity. I was like thats a decent place and space to throw a get to together, birthday or something that sort. After about 10 minutes our starters were served. Immediately my wife and I noticed the delicious smell and dived into our food. Our first bite was like a variety of flavors bursting into our mouths. The food was so delicious and the mango lassi was the best I had drank (sorry North India). Then we ordered dinner. For dinner we ordered Butter Chicken, 2 garlic naans (bread), Dal Makani (Lentils) and raita (yogurt). Waiting for our dinner, we were entertained with indian music and a television providing some visual entertainment. About 15 minutes later we were given dinner plates and served. Everything smelled delicious. I started with a piece of naan, a serving of butter chicken and lentils. As i started to eat the butter chicken just melted in my mouth. It was so good you just have to try it and the dal and the naan was good. The Yogurt was good. My wife also said it was really good. After dinner we ordered Rasmalia (homemade sweetened cottage cheese with milk) for dessert. This was so good. In the end we asked for a check and the bill was modest and the portion we also some point I think they need improve is the bathrooms, and a bigger television other than that it is good. In closing I would like to say India's Oven is the best Indian restaurant to dine in, which is modestly priced, and gives great service, ambiance, and most importantly great food which is so good you just have to try it to find out.
Great Job Guys,
