Great experience

Will NEVER go back the MANAGER and waiters are extremely RUDE. The food on a scale of 1-10 is a low 3. if you want some authentic Chinese food PLEASE try Shanghai on Blackstone, very close to San Francisco Chinese food. You pay maybe

.40 more but service is good and food to die for. As for this restaurant Imperial whatever SUCKS.....don't be fooled by the amount of people there. Be observant

This restaurant is an awesome place to eat a variety of original Chinese food. I enjoy trying new foods, as each time I am surprised with great taste. The place is always packed but well worth it. Some employees are kind of rude but the large amounts of delicious food makes up for it!!

Imperial Garden Sucks

Not enough space to write a whole review. Bad service, rude, food lousy and not even a thank you when we paid.

Good but most reviews are true

This place has good Chinese food. They give you tons and it's always fresh. Unfortunately the service is bad. I don't know if it's family operated and so the employees don't care but they have poor attitudes. They place isn't kept up too nice but it's not a pit hole. If you don't care about service and want good food then try this place.

Come Only for the Dim Sum!

Hands down the best dim sum in the Valley. For better you're going to have to make the drive to Cupertino or board a plane to Taiwan.

Everything, from the pork buns to the chicken's feet, is fresh and tasty. The floor space sometimes makes it hard for the wait staff to maneuver the food carts; while you're munching you might have move your chair out of the way every once in a while, but to me this just adds to the authenticity of the experience.

The other food is just ordinary.

one of the best in fresno

imperial garden is one of the few places in fresno with good chinese food. the place isn't the cleanest, but that's an authentic chinese restaurant for you. The servica isn't great either so if you want a special night out, this isn't the place for you.

customer service is TERRIBLE. Sure the menu looks appealing, but service absolutely TERRIBLE! Our last, and final visit to this place we waited a good 15-20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us after we were seated. This man (supposively the manager) happened to walk by and said ""oh, your order hasn't been taken"". I asked him if they were usually this slow, given the restraunt wasn't even half full, and he snapped back stating they were busy with other customers and to stop complaining about have to wait 15 minutes. I asked for the manager, and he stated he was the manager. Not only was this ""manager"" rude, he could care less about losing customers.

Poor Customer Service

Their food is average. You get what you paid for. Their customer service: There is one waitress who is just absolutely rude. The first time that I took my family there for my mother-in-law's birthday, that waitress snatched the order form and the pen that was place on the table from me. She then said something snotty and walked over to the trash can to throw the paper away and ripped up a new form, then slapped it on the table. Then yesterday, a few months later, we thought that we would give this restaurant one more try. This time, it was with my brother, who's visiting me for the first time in 6 years. We sat down and ordered our drinks and when that same waitress came around asking if we wanted something to eat from the cart, my brother asked for the shrimp plate. We paused to see what she wanted us to do. So my brother thought that she wanted us to pick up the plate. He selected the plate and she literally snatched the plate from his hand, quickly unwrapped the shrimp plate, carelessly poured the soy sauce over, and slapped the plate on the table in front of him. This will be the last time that we will go there. One waitress smiled at us and was courteous, however. But the experiences left a sour taste in our mouths. By the way, apprently, there is no contact information for the owner/manager. We asked.

Good luck to those of you who would like to try this restaurant out.

Dim Sum yummy

This place was awesome for Dim Sum although it was very very busy, You must get there early and place your name on their list ASAP. If you are willing to try new things this is a great place to start. The price was acceptable and the service was great.

THE Dim Sum Place in Town

This is where all the people in town congregate for Dim Sum simply because it has the greatest variety and serve them seven days of the week. Crowded on weekends when the Chinese custom of eating Dim Sum takes over. Service is adequate, to some degree diminuated by the number of people in the restaurants. Chow fun and chow mein are quite good relative to other Chinese restaurants because the volume allow fresh ingredients. Dim Sum quality and taste is quite good for a place outside the major metropolitan areas such as LA, SF, Vancouver, Chicago and NY.

our favorite!

there is no question which restaurant we're headed to when we're in town. this place has excellent chinese food, and not the imitation kind. their dim sum menu is great and their menu selection covers items you would find at a restaurant in china town. if you want ""real"" chinese food, you've gotta try this place.

Great Dim Sum

This place has an outstanding Dim Sum selection. Really cool stuff wrapped in lotus leaves and steamed shumai, jelly fish, etc. Very reasonably priced and a lot of very tasty food for not much scratch.
