Mariscos El Sushi in Fresno, CA

I'll make this short because I never leave reviews.1 hour after I left sendai all you can eat I had the worst food poisoning ever was been ridden vomiting for 5 days straight did not eat or move for 5 days stay far away unless you want to be violently ill.

Best restaurant in the central valley! The cooks are amazing and always create a fun show. I come here for ever event I am celebrating.

Reserved a party. Wouldn't seat us until we had 15 people. About 3 minutes later the next 2 people showed and they tried to tell us to wait 45 more minutes. This place is an absolute joke

I wouldn't call myself a sushi connoisseur but I eat a lot of sushi and I can say this, don't eat sushi in Fresno period. If you want real good quality sushi I recommend SoCal or NorCal. I am the type of person who gives a place three tries prior to making my final decision, why this place sucks: 1) The sushi sucks so bad. If you've had great sushi before you know that when it goes into your mouth it should be about room temperature, buttery and tender. Unfortunately at Aji, jack mackerel in Japanese, the fish is poorly thawed, you can taste how the water cells were poorly and quickly thawed which gives the fish a grainy texture and cold and watery taste when you bite into it. The Ono, aka mahi-mahi, is not ono, like many restaurants here in the Central Valley, they cheap out and give you Escolar, aka butterfish, a much cheaper fish instead. 2) The customer service is horrible. If you're unlucky you'll most likely get someone who doesn't speak a lick of English, so what ever you ask for will be ignored or they'll pretend you never asked. I'm Asian and I understand that there are lots of international students who don't or can't speak English which is fine, but just let someone else know so they can help. Since this restaurant is located by Fashion Fair mall, Fresno State and local businesses they get quite a few foot traffic, but not enough to make you forget about your customers especially the food they ordered 30 minutes ago. TLDR: If you actually like sushi don't eat sushi in the Central Valley period, you get what you pay for.

THIS PLACE IS GREAT. I REALLY LOVE IT. THE SUSHI IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I RECOMMEND TO GO THERE

This was our second visit. Food is good. All you can eat sushi for me and the wife. We have 3 kids who don't like sushi/seafood one who is 3yrs old. They get ala carte items. First they ignored us for 15-20 min after we were ready to order. Then they brought out all of the all u can eat items and forgot my kids food. It took an additional 20 minutes for their food. In the meantime they brought a peace offering of shrimp tempura? Did I mention my kids don't like seafood. In the end they charged gratuity of 18% and one of the kids didn't even order or eat anything (4 people eating not the 5 to warrant gratuity). I didn't realized they had charged me and I tipped an additional 15% ( more than fair for lousy service).

The food was really good, service was excellent, and its also an " ALL YOU CAN EAT". Selection is plentiful, if you don't want the all you can eat they also have a menu. They have a deal going on 10 percent off since its grand opening. Recommended for sushi lovers.

I love this place. Great service, clean and awesome tasting food. The sushi there is also delicious and fresh.
