SUPERIOR MECHANIC WORK & VERY COMPETITIVE PRICES AT HERNDON AUTO SERVICE IN FRESNO:[SPECIALIZING IN MERCEDES BENZ]On May 8, 2017, I brought my Mercedes Benz 300E 2.6 to Herndon Auto Service located on Herndon & Maroa due to the engine light turning red during the weekend and the warning light activated which warned me that some lights needed to be replaced. I contacted Ricky Altero, the owner, on Saturday, May 6, 2017 regarding all these issues. Ricky answered his cell phone during the weekend and guaranteed me that he would provide me with his own truck during the time that my vehicle would be in his shop for repairs. When I arrived on Monday morning to bring in my vehicle, Ricky had his truck parked and ready for me to take. There have been numerous times throughout the years that Ricky has even loaned me his own sports Mercedes Benz when my vehicle has needed repair work.Arturo Alvarez, the top technician and supervisor from Herndon Auto Service, was honest and sincere with me and immediately informed me that he would replace my Engine Codes 16 EGR and Vacuum Change over-valve. Arturo Alvarez even cleaned the EGR pipe which required an additional hour of labor but didn’t charge me for this additional hour. How many dealerships would perform extra work at no cost like Herndon Auto Service? Also, both Arturo and Ricky exhibited extreme care and cleanliness to my vehicle which has been regarded for so many people throughout Fresno as one of the cleanest Mercedes Benz they have ever seen. I highly recommend Herndon Auto Service, because they take pride in all of their work, have very competitive prices, and take care of matters in a very professional and timely manner. Every single time that I have brought my vehicle to Herndon Auto Service, I feel like I am treated by Ricky Altero, Arturo Alvarez, and all the technicians as a VIP.I will continually take my Mercedes Benz to your # 1 DEALERSHIP IN FRESNO: (559)-431-3556!!!!!Donald Rotella
Phenomenal job! I called the Tint Pros shop Friday evening after hours. Couldn’t believe it when the guy returned my call that night. Impressed me so much I made an appointment for the next day, Saturday (today) at 7am. They already had a car slotted for 7am already, but went out of their way to accommodate me. When I arrived 10 min early, the guy was already set up for me. We discussed all the available options. He didn’t try to sell me on any one option. The price was settled (fair price) and was told the job would be done in about an hour. When I said I was going to get some breakfast, the guy threw his car keys to me and said “take my car.” That was unbelievable. This shop did an outstanding tint job on my car, for a great price, and loaned me a car so I didn’t have to walk to a breakfast place. Who does that? Everything is guaranteed with lots of options in case something changes in the future. I’d recommend this shop to anyone. And, when I take my wife’s car to them in a few weeks, I still get the multi-car discount. These guys earned my business. Now go let them earn yours.
Excellent Fast Professional Service. A Noticeably Inspired service team; Quick yet Attentive and Thorough. Props to Workers & Leaders! I remained in my car while it was serviced, kept abreast of checks & procedures, & was shown the dip sticks to see levels for myself. I felt included. They're Open, Forthcoming, w/no deceptions, & nothing left out. Offered options, recommendations, & advice. From my driver's seat I saw the pieces of paper & plastic removed from my air intake compartment that was apparently there for years, & which Walmart oil changers failed many times to remove or show any concern or communication about it with me. I got a $5 off coupon on my phone reducing the already low price, which came with a Free car wash, but that's not all, I was given my choice of iced tea, lemonade, or ice water delivered right to me in my car. Very Happy and Impressed with the service and experience. I was in and out of there in 43 minutes, and there were 9 cars in the garage B4 me.
I have a Mercedes E350 and every time I been bringing my car to the Dealer for service and repairs but the prices and service are not the best. I been looking for a better shop and I found this shop as i was driving back home. As soon as I walked in I was welcomed and they took really good care of me and my car. My car had the check engine light and they kept the car for couple days, they got back to me explaining the issue my car had and price quote to fix it. When they call me to let me know my car was ready the manager was there to see if I had any questions. The price and customer services was pretty good. If you have European car, I'll recommend you this mechanic shop, its an excellent option, great service and friendly customer service.
I was traveling to LA when my tire went flat , I located G N auto care and was pleased to see the manager as he was leaving for home. He opened the shop, Restarted all his equipment and then fixed the flat, AT 8:15 pm with a flat tire in a strange Town where I did not know any one. I thought I will pay more than $60 for the repair but manager KB Brar charged me $12.78 total. When i offered him more money he refused and told me this," We are here for Our customers not here to rob them". I like the business ethics . Later I came to know that Kb Brar is a PhD Doctor and that his wife and him own the business. At the End I had a very Pleasant visit there and I would recommend this business to all my family and friends.
I went to Tint Pros on Friday. Everyone there was extremely friendly and they did an awesome job tinting my SUV. The prices are very reasonable. They were very informative and helpful when deciding what level of tint to use. Alex showed me how the different levels of tint would look. They have an wonderful warranty and I would recommend them in a heartbeat as well as go back to them with any other tinting needs I may have in the future. They are in a new location on Blackstone between Sierra and Bullard, just across the street from U-Haul.Great Job!!! Thanks!!
It's hard to come by a good and HONEST mechanic, and S&S Auto is both! I've told ALL of my friends, family and colleagues about S&S Auto, and every single person who has gone there, has thanked me. I've never paid cash, although I'm sure it's an option. The "allNone" posting is the most libelous, ridiculous "review" I've ever read. It's too bad that people can create anonymous accounts and be allowed to post such bold-faced lies. :( I HIGHLY recommend S&S Auto, and stand by my referral and my review.
I paid 30.00 for full hand wash service so keep looking through the window because I wanted to make sure the did not use the rollers. To my surprise they did not use the roller but they did not hand wash the car neither. So I told the cashier so she went to tell them so they took the car to have them wash the car again. Because car wash acknowledged a mistake and they were very quite to respond and correct the problem. I have no choice but to give them a 5 star rating for there professionalism respond and work.
They are fast, honest, and fair pricing!I have had two of my vehicles worked on my 2005 Mercedes brand new set of Tires then my work van 1990 Chevy Astro cargo van basic maintance oil change and Radiator flush. They tell me honestly what is wrong with my car they don't try to over sell me and price is always fair. This is one of the best places downtown for service.
My husband and I were really impressed with Honesty Auto. I had a tune-up on my car and I was very satisfied with the results. I would definitely go again if I needed any service for my car. And the owner was very nice and explained whatever questions we needed answered concerning my car. Thank you honesty Auto for your great service Rhonda B.
There are more than 700,000 auto service technicians and mechanics in the U.S. Finding the right one to repair a dent in your car door or fix an engine that won't start can be overwhelming, especially when it's an emergency. Review a few important facts about auto repair professionals and what you can do to get the best possible mechanic working on your vehicle's issues for a fair price.
Looking For Reliability
Unlike home repair services that evaluate a property, meet with homeowners and have time to prepare before their physical work begins, auto repair businesses are often asked to make fixes on the spot. If you come into a garage with a tire issue, the expectation is the mechanic will know how to correct that problem quickly.
That is why reliability is so vital when searching for a trusted auto repair shop. It may take going to several different mechanics before you find one you are truly comfortable with. Pose questions to this professional to find out what approach they will take to repair your car or what alternatives are available. Shopping around also gives you the best opportunity to find the cheapest rate or the fastest service, as some garages may be backed up with other vehicles that need repair first.
A recommended way to locate a trustworthy auto repair professional is to seek out customer reviews. Online sites offer honest opinions from real customers who have used a business. Read through this feedback to learn how a business operates and what you can expect if you were to take your vehicle there. Look for reviews about how quick maintenance was completed and if prices were fair. By learning what other people have said about a garage, you can gain a better idea if it's the right place to go when you have a car problem in need of fixing.
It can be difficult to know which automotive problems are serious enough to require expert assistance. A ripped seat cushion or broken radio don't involve safety and will not warrant enough of a problem that going into a garage is required. However, setbacks with brakes, lights and other parts that are vital to the safety of your car's driver and passengers, as well as others on the road, necessitate quick fixes. Many modern automobiles will notify drivers of an issue, in the form of a signal on the dashboard or a noise within the vehicle.
In the event of an accident, even if your vehicle does not appear to have any damage on the outside, it is generally recommended that you see a trusted auto repair professional. Internal damage may have occurred, or an important part may have been knocked out of place. Fixing these issues before driving much further can prevent further vehicle breakdowns in the future. In the case of a serious accident, a body shop can assess the problems and determine the best course of action for repairs, as well as evaluate how much they will cost.
Beyond that, regular checkups are recommended. Tires must be rotated, fluids needs to be replaced and the engine must be evaluated. After driving 25,000 miles, most auto dealers suggest having the vehicle checked out to ensure everything is running smoothly. Taking the car into the auto repair professional you trust will protect you from further problems down the road.
Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop. At the same time, be aware of mechanic scams that can impact your experience.
Preventing Trips To The Professional
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage. By handling these types of tasks on your own, you'll gain a better understanding for how your car operates and save time and money.
Along with understanding how to fix manageable vehicle issues that may arise, taking preventative measures to avoid future problems is a valuable time saver. Many problem-solving best practices are related to the seasons. Your vehicle will be in different conditions in the winter than in the summer, meaning it requires a different type of preparation.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures the vehicle will be exposed to, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check your tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
There is a common worry among many people that auto repair professionals take advantage of the general public. Because so many people are unaware of how to fix the problems in their vehicle, they are nervous of being overcharged by mechanics or worried that the improper work is being done.
While the great majority of professionals in the industry are honest, hard-working people, a few bad apples can ruin everything. You should be extra careful when first visiting a mechanic to guarantee that the price you're charged and maintenance the vehicle receives are fair.
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you are in the shop and your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill.
The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done. That way, you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
By working closely with an auto repair professional and doing some of the tune-up work on your own, you will be less likely to fall for these scams. At the same time, you'll be able to drive out with a clean and healthy vehicle, thanks to the repairs made by a trained professional.
