25. Jia Salon & Spa

Jia is wonderful! It's upscale, but without the snooty employees. If you're not sure about what services you might want or like, they are happy to…
Ann Grieg is the best! She is a master at highlights and cuts! I always get compliments on my hair because of her. Also, you leave the salon feeling like you just gained a best friend because she is always so nice and has great conversations! ❤️❤️❤️
Poor management & salon as a whole - HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED:1) I called the receptionist to schedule an appointment with a really good stylist - ASKING SEVERAL TIMES TO MAKE SURE THAT WAS A GREAT STYLIST FOR MEN.2) Jamie did not follow instructions at all. She was rough, did a half ass job on the side trimming, and left a crooked neckline. Then she totally damaged my natural hairline with a ridiculous/dramatic edging. At that point, I got out of the chair and told the receptionist I needed a new stylist.3) Jamie then confronted me at the counter, telling me "This is what brothers get" when I am a white man and not black. Very inappropriate.4) I went outside while waiting for a new stylist and Jamie confronted me outside AGAIN. Telling me I needed to pay her for the half-job she did (keep in mind hair cut was not finished at this point). Jamie asked me if I was on drugs because I was upset. Very inappropriate.5) A new stylist did his best to fix this disaster of a hair cut, while Jamie went around talking to other stylists and making a scene. As if she was in the right.6) Then I noticed that a small part of my eyebrow had been cut by Jamie. The new stylist also noticed that the trimming on the sides was not complete and the neckline was crooked.7) I spoke with the owner, who had no intentions of firing this unprofessional stylist because "they're hard to find". So with that said, this salon is a joke and you should look at the other reviews. The owner makes poor judgement calls with who she hires and manages. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE MORE PROFESSIONAL! THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AND NOW I HAVE THIS RIDICULOUS HAIR CUT AND EYEBROW TO LIVE WITH FOR A FEW WEEKS. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! READ THE REVIEWS ON OTHER SITES!
Rina does amazing haircuts every time I go.. been coming for a couple years now.. she is easy to talk to and is very pleasant
Y'all have to get your hair done here! She's so caring, fast working, patient, understanding and makes your hair experience so comfortable. I refuse to go to anyone else! She's amazing!
My son has autism and doesn't do well with getting his haircut. I took him to Carmen's cut and she did an amazing job! She was very calm and gentle with him and made him feel really comfortable. I was very happy how professional and calm she was while my son cried and screamed. I've also had her cut my hair a previous time. We will be going to her from now on. Thank you
A uniquely, talented hair designer with a flare for artistry. A loyal customer throughout the years.
This was the most humiliating experience. I have never felt so discriminated against in my life! I made an appointment for 4:30 pm. At 4:10 I was driving to the salon when I get a call saying they had to move my appointment to 5:00. I arrived at 4:55 pm yet still waited 30 more minutes. At 5:25 pm I asked the receptionist how much longer and she said soon. I waited another 15 minutes. Once the hairdresser, Tiffany Makredes, finally met with me, she looked me up and down with a arrogant attitude, pausing to stare at my un-dyed roots. My hairdresser of 16 years, passed away over 2 months ago and shock and sadness at his sudden death had prevented me from looking for a new hairdresser. He was a beautiful soul that made every client feel like family. I could immediately tell that she thought I did not fit her profile of acceptable clients. She did not think I belonged in her fancy salon and she assumed I could not afford her fee. She was sorely mistaken. I am a mother of 4 and I run a small business. My husband and I have a net worth of over 7 million dollars. We live in a 2.5 million dollar (paid off) home. She asked how I colored my hair I told her and she said," Well it seems to be working for you so just keep doing that" What? So then I told her I was considering a Brazilian Blowout and she said, " I need to refer you out I do not do that treatment, it stings my eyes." So I continued trying to get some kind of service after waiting so long. I asked about a haircut and she asked, "Who was cutting your hair before"? I told her, holding back tears "Arnold Gomez" and she acknowledged that she knew of his death and said "His brother works here, go to him, I am sure he would take someone that knew his brother as a client." And with that she pulled me off the chair and said "I will have him call you, bye." I have never been treated with such prejudice. She looked at my modest appearance and "Wiry hair", her words, and assumed I could not afford her services and was not going to give me, the time of day. Her uppity attitude was unbelievable, a hairdresser? She obviously never learned the age old lesson, "You can't judge a book by it's cover." She only wants to style hair for clients that fit her discriminatory profile.
First class eyebrow shapes and a five star service what else you need I will recommend to get your threading from this place
I had my hair done with a new color that I had never had before, and I absolutely love it. Tera Tullis really knows how to handle curly hair, and I've not had much luck in the past with other people. The salon is intimate and is very relaxing.
