Savvy Repairs

I used this shop as an installation center for tires I bought online through Goodyear. The manager of the store, Robert, was curt and rude as I presented my paperwork. Once the installation was done, he gruffly handed me the keys and I left. Approximately 20 minutes after leaving his shop, the tire pressure light came on. The next day I dropped the car back off at Savvy Tire & Auto Service and again spoke to Robert. After I explained the problem, he curtly said “So what do you want me to do?” I replied “Can you look at it?” He said: “You understand that you bought these tires through Goodyear and not from my store”… I said, “Yes I understand that but you did install them just yesterday, and my light wasn’t on before that – so can you look into what the problem is?” About 1 hour later he called me and told me that the right front tire sensor was no longer working. I said “it can’t be a coincidence that the sensor is broken today after you installed tires when it was fine yesterday”. He said there was nothing that he would do. I had no choice but to pick up the car as I did not want to use his shop for any repairs. After paying for 4 tires, I will now have to visit my mechanic to repair the sensor, likely damaged during installation.

I’ve written to corporate offices of Goodyear. This experience was unacceptable – and left me feeling disrespected, cheated and angry. I’m sure there are far better shops in the 11365 area that provide professional, courteous and honest auto service. Don’t use this shop.

I brought my vehicle to the Savvy Lube Auto Repair shop at 6144 fresh meadows lane in fresh meadows New York and was serviced by an individual named Robert. He was at the greeting counter when I walked in and as soon as I walked up I greeted him with a friendly hello his reply was "what do you need". From there he was extremely rude, short and dismissive. I am confused as to why he spoke to me in a disrespectful manner as if he were superior to me. I would just like to inform you that this type of so called customer service is unacceptable and should not be occurring if you expect continued business from customers. This was my first time here and I will not returned even though the gentleman who fixed my vehicle was quite nice and respectful, first impressions are long lasting. I would not return to this shop solely based on the actions of Robert and how undoubtedly rude he was. Perhaps Robert should receive some training on how to be an exceptional customer service representative for your business.

the main guy..always 4get his name..but he is just awesome! i think he is the boss man
