I really don't like going car shopping but when I got to the Honda dealer we were met by Kent. He really made it easy and made my wife happy with his wanting to make her feel comfortable. We had a choice of 2 cars and the first one we started my wife wasn't really happy with the way is sounded so he went to get the keys for the next one and that is the one we decided to get. We went inside and Kent was busy with some other customers that came back to see him so we were introduced to Benny (the better looking salesman) in his words. We did the numbers and weren't really happy with them so he went to get see if they would lower the price and came back with something we could work with. Along with going back and forth on the price there was a lot of humor going between us which made the whole car buying experience nice. If your in the market for a car do yourself a favor and go and see them. Ask for Kent or Benny. You won't be sorry. They are at Honda in Fremont.



AutoWest Honda of Fremont sold...

AutoWest Honda of Fremont sold us a used car from their inventory one year ago. Unbeknownst to us or Autowest, the car had a modification that eventually caused an erroneous airbag deployment a year later. We complained to Autowest Honda knowing we had purchased the car “as is.” To our surprise, their new GM took care of us beyond what we had hoped for.

How many dealerships would take full responsibility for their used cars, “which by virtue carry its own risk?” It is nice to know that there are still honest businesses out there that care about people and not just about making money. We trust AutoWest Honda to fully take care of its customers.

Great Experience with Internet Sales Team

I had an excellent experience dealing with the Auto West internet sales team. Once I knew which car I wanted I contacted many dealerships through the Kelly Blue Book site. Alan Fernandez at Auto West was prompt to respond, answered all my questions quickly and delivered as promised. There was no bait and switch. They were efficient and the time spent in the showroom to pick up the car was minimal. I highly recommend them for an internet sale.

horrible customer service - would NEVER buy a car there! Be warned!

We went to look at a Honda there and the salesman we got was named Ali. He was horribly unhelpful. They had one car in the style, color and options we wanted. We test drove it + asked some questions, to which we got mediocre answers. Since he was so unhelpful, we didn't really want to buy the car from him, and asked if we could put a deposit on it as a hold to come back and buy it later. He replied that it was ""first come, first serve"" and that they couldn't do that. We told him we were very interested, needed a few minutes to talk, + went off to a table in their showroom to discuss buying the car + how to negotiate the price. While we were discussing (probably 20 min), without telling us anything, he showed the car to another couple. We went looking for him + couldn't find him + when we finally did, we said we were ready to discuss pricing. He replied ""oh that is too bad, I showed the car to another couple + I have to find out what they want to do first"" To which I replied ""but we were here first and you said it was first come, first serve. You didn't even check with us first"". He said ""let me see what they want to do"". And while i was protesting, walked away to get their answer. He came back + said they were going to buy the car. Again, I stated that we were there first and that he had said it was first come, first serve and we were sitting in the showroom - he could have checked with us as to what we wanted to do before showing it. He said ""too bad you took too long"" AND WALKED AWAY. Didn't even try to help us or offer us anything - like finding the car elsewhere . JUST WALKED AWAY. I couldn't believe it. He could have had 2 sales, but clearly didn't care. We were so angry that we left immediately + I would NEVER go back for a car there, no matter what the price.

If you want an unpleasant car shopping experience, by all means take your chance. But if you want to actually buy a car, go elsewhere. You can buy a honda at any honda dealer!
