This is regarding their property management services team, Chit Prashar and Ira Joshi. In my first meeting to take a look at the unit for rent, he brought a wrong set of keys to the unit, so I had to wait about 20 to 30 minutes until he made a round trip to his office to get the right key set. Then he gave a wrong parking lot number, so after we moved in, we had to visit the property office to find out the right parking spots. My move in inspection shows that unit was not carpet cleaned or professionally cleaned, and I picked up bunch of debris, cleaned dirty kitchen and picked up a full bag of dust from my before move in vacuum and sent inspection note as a pdf and proof photos. However, when I moved out they charged me for the professional cleaning and carpet cleaning even though it was cleaner than when I moved in. California law prohibits from Landlord/management company to charge the cleaning fee if the unit was not professionally cleaned before move in. Also during last year I stayed there, they increase the rent by more than 10% and gave about 7 days written notices which is against law and claimed that he had a right to increase the rent because we were month to month which was not true. A landlord must give 60 days’ advance notice if the rent increase is greater than 10 percent. (Civil Code Section 827b.) Additionally, returning security deposit, they sent it after 21 days which was also against the law. Told me it was late because, I did not gave the my new address which was also not true. I sent them my address 8 days after I moved out. Ira email me she left a voicemail but I never got one and my new address was clearly stated in my email thread with her. I have talked to the half owner of the property when he visited the unit and he was also showing dissatisfaction with the management company also. I do not recommend doing any business with this management company.

I was referred to BACS with severe PTSD as well as Clinical Depression. It has been a nightmare. The worst part of it is that they have let me run out of medications on two occasions. Going into withdrawals and waiting in Emergency rooms for hours to get medications. I have taken this higher up and no one seems to care, it is mind blowing. My case worker LaShay Lang has done very little for me. Not one trip to the grocery store when I am out of food, or walk in the sun. She frequently misses our meetings. When she does show up she has poor boundaries talking about her personal life and husbands unemployment. I have asked her about things we talked about in previous visits, things we were working on for me. She has responded that she is still doing research and literally walked out mid meeting. She Has hung up on the phone with me several times. She has told me she was off days when she was not. This program has compounded my depression and decreased my stability. As I sit now going through withdrawls again and LaShay hanging up on me twice today after she told me my appointment was cancelled, knowing I was out of meds. That is the main part of her job, and the most I really need from her and she is unable to do that. This saddens me thinking of all the others who have had to go through this.
If you are looking for a confirm deal with no haggling for price and work Tom is the man. If he commits he being your agent he will make sure you are the owner! Patience, hard work and honestly all in one hard to find now a days. Thank you Tom!

About a year ago my old friend suffered from dementia while in her house that left her very nervous. This place is SOOO good especially for the people who are affected with this disease, as well as the caregivers or staff was very friendly and absolutely amazing!! Have no regrets, would definitely recommend Carlton Senior Living to everyone!
I was relieved that Carlton Senior Living staff understood that looking for a place that provides dementia care was a very personal decision for me. They wanted to know about my mom and what was important to me and my family. The place is clean. The staff are very friendly. Because we are not from that area, they provided us with a list of helpful, local medical referrals.At first my mom was angry and didn't want to be there, and although she still has good days and bad days, staff are always encouraging. My mom is eating better, is participating in the activities and we are feeling good about our decision to move her to Carlton Senior Living.
I am giving five star ratings for Carlton Plaza of Fremont for a whole lot of reasons!!The staff has always been kind, warm, considerate and gentle with my mom and easy to communicate with. I didn't think anybody could care for my mom better than I could … but gladly, I was wrong. Thanks for proving me wrong!
