This place probably has the best vegetable pizza I have ever tasted. It's with a sad heart I write this review, however when you treat your customers like crap you don't deserve to be in business. First, I've never head of a pizzeria that will not serve its pizza to customers. For example..my mom, went into the pizzeria. She saw that they had 3 vegetable slices, so she asked for all three. The owner refused to sell her the slices. I later called back, and found back the owners stupid reason for refusing to sell, and I quote "when it's fresh I'm not gonna cut it" he told her to come back in a half hour. Now that's only one example of there rudeness. We've called them to make the vegetable pie for delivery, and the owner has gotten on the phone and refused to make it that day. Honestly this place would be a wonderful place if the owners retired and hired some friendly people. Till that happens I can't recommend it.. unless you like getting abused.
The owner was very friendly and explained what was in each of the fabulous selection of rice balls. I ordered a traditional beef and cheese rice all and a Mac and cheese with baby shrimp rice ball. They were the best rice balls I have had in a long time. The pizza was a balanced amount of thin crisp crust cheese and sauce. The sauce was seasoned just right. The atmosphere of this intimate pizzeria was relaxing with dim lights and excellent blues music to accompany your meal. I will be in again soon with my family
I have to say they have wonderful customer service. I live in Tennessee and wanted to send my uncle & aunt (who are dealing with a health crisis) a pizza for dinner. I spoke with Jackie and she was so helpful, she even asked if I'd like her to send a note along with the pizza. I spoke with two other pizza places in Freeport and they were not helpful at all. Thank you so much La Via!
My family and I have been coming to this pizza place for years. It's always been a bit overpriced, but the food was decent and it's right nearby us, so it was worth it...UNTIL today. It turns out there is NO customer service. Owner is very rude. I was quoted a price on the phone for pineapple topping and then charged a different price. Owner basically accused me of lying that I was quoted that price and was very rude.Overpriced in general anyway but was sort of worth it until now. Now I do not recommend. Also doesn't abide by discounts! Sign in door says $12.59 (or similar) for large pie on Sundays. Wanted to charge me $23 because I added pineapple to it. In the end he charged me $18 which I accepted because I needed to just get away from that rude man. $18 for a Sunday special pizza with added pineapple? And he wanted to charge me more? Screw that! Don't go here! NO CUSTOMER LOYALTY, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE and a RUDE owner. Will NEVER come here again.
This could be one of the best slice of pizza I ever had.. what place a truly Italian Pizzeria. I haven't seen this type of pizza joint since my old days in Brooklyn. I never write anything about people or places but I was soo impress with this place, I had to. Atlantic Pizzeria I thank you, for taking me back to the good old days. Anyone who hasn't tried this place... they should. Their pizza is to kill for their crust is amazing
