Freeport High School operates under the guidelines set by the Freeport School District 145. The school offers education to more than 1,300 students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes mathematics, English, accounting, computer science, foreign language, health education, business studies, industrial arts, social studies, science and technology, fine arts, music and physical education. The school also offers various special education programs for students with special needs. It provides career guidance and counseling services to students. The school organizes various sports programs, such as football, volleyball, bowling, soccer, golf, swimming, softball, cross country and tennis, and extracurricular activities that include band concerts, drama, music shows and National Honor Society. Located in Freeport, Ill., the school also has a fully equipped library and media center.
