        My elderly mother had the unfortunate circumstance of having a pipe burst inside her home, damaging the carpeting in her dining/living room area. Besides the obvious disruption of the clean-up, there was the issue of replacing her carpeting at a reasonable cost and equally important --finding a good carpet installer. I remembered several years ago, my contractor had used Abbey Carpet for
        my wood floors and I was very satisfied with the results. We went to Abbey Carpet and learned they were now under new ownership. Chris O’Brien, the new owner was very patient; showing us a number of options, and lending us the sample boards more than once. Because the price was so reasonable, my mother decided to do all of her bedrooms as well. He placed the order right after my mother decided on her carpet and we had the carpet installation done a week later. He was very accommodating, scheduling the job for a Saturday so we could all be around to put everything back in place. The installers were very neat; the installation was flawless. Chris even called during the installation to see how things were going. I can't say enough about Chris' patience and his interest in my mother's satisfaction with the installation. With competitive pricing and high quality products there's no doubt I'll be using them as well to handle any of my flooring needs as well. Great experience with friendly, professional owners Chris & Donna!
