Good food and service but very poor atmosphere. Served water in a plastic cup and cheap white plates. Prices did not reflect the cheaper atmosphere.

Great food and atmosphere.

We are greatly disappointed by the treatment we received at your restaurant. Your business was recommended to us by a local store owner. When we got there we found a seat, not one of the three waiters would make eye contact with us. They continued to serve the other tables around us. After approx. 10 minutes the couple at the next table told the waiter we hadn't be helped yet and he said "oh", and told us we'd be served when a table became available..we were already seated at a table. About 5 minutes later another party of three came in and were seated, given menus, and served immediately. The only differnce between us and the others is the restaurant is that we are a mixed race couple. I'm white and my husband is a dark skinned latin man. Needless to say we walked out. My husband is a vetern who has served three tours in Iraq and this is how he is treated in a town that boosts its historical connection to the military during a world war. If you do not intend to serve all who enter your establishment then put a sign on your door that reads..."Whites only" at least no one else will have to be put through this embarrasment. This is sad in this day and age.

Came here with my mom for Spring Break, locals suggested this place and Auslanders. Had a plate of German sausage w/ sauerkraut and potatoes. It was yummy and the building was a historic site! Price was fair and service is good, i highly recommend!
