Action Auto Works

After numerous attempts to find an honest auto repair shop in the area, we found Action Auto Works. We had moved into the area in 2005 not knowing any locals who could steer us in the right direction to discover reputable businesses, whether it be auto repair, dental, doctor, contractors, etc.. We had to do our own "homework", and In the process, we were taken advantage of many, many times due to our trusting nature of those providing our needed services. Unfortunately, we are still dealing with the concept of "who can you trust", but it is helping us to grow wiser.

Auto Repair is one of those services that you just cannot avoid. We were frequenting one popular garage close to our home, but as it became obvious after a few years that they were not looking out for their customers, we began to search elsewhere. Action Auto Works was recommended by someone reliable so we tried them, and were so very satisfied that we remain a loyal customer of theirs to date. I, personally, have dealt mainly with Barry, but we find both brothers to be very honest, professional, fair, and always trying accommodate busy schedules. They are up to date, confident, and knowledgeable about all aspects of the auto repair industry, as well. We fear the day they decide to retire and close their business. You just can't find the quality of work and professionalism they possess anymore.

I'm so blessed to have found action auto. I now live in Va. Beach and still bring all of my cars to Berry. From an inspection to serious work there is no one else I trust with my cars and wallet. He is an honest and hard working mechanic. My mom, daughter,and sisters, all trust him with our cars. Thank you for always taking good care of us.

Barry is definitely the go to person for car issues. Our 02 Explorer needed a lot of work and he got it back on the road. We also bring our Mercedes to him for service and repairs when needed. He doesn't over price and tells you whats needed and cost. No trying to throw in unnecessary or unneeded repairs like major service centers. Highly recommend if your looking for a long term dependable mechanic.

Prior to taking my 94 Lexus to Action Auto Works, I was told that there is no help for my car. I was devastated! wasn't willing to give up on my car. I called and spoke to Barry who not only listened to my problems but offered to take a look at my car. I needed alot of work and they came through for me and it was afforable. They are excellent mechanics, I promise you they will do their best to help in any situation. I when in to there shop in tears and came out with hope. I highly recommend these guys hands down. IF you ever been in a pickle and thought thier was no way out.i have to say thier are honest people in the automotive repair world left and mr. Dan LOWERY & MR. Barry Bonner are two of the best in the Business. I HAVE A 1961 MERCURY COMET THAT NEEDED BASIC WORK . but two other shop tried to pull the wool over my eyes . frist one was alex auto repair and the sceond was mastercraft automotive both places dont think about the customer only thier pocket.ACTION "AUTO WORKS' isnt that kind of place they do real work i will always go back to ACTION "AUTO WORKS"
