I have a Kenmore refrigerator, freezer stopped working. Service Tech came out of Saturday said he fixed the problem left around noon. Around 4pm I realized not only was freezer not working now refrigerator wasn't working called service said someone would call back in 15 minutes no call back. Called on Monday to explain said someone would be out Tuesday. When I got home from work message to call service, called now they don't have an appointment available for 10 days. Tried to get a number for a supervisor or a number where I could talk to someone in the US. Was left on continuous hold. Have made many calls to no avail, is clearly a language barrier as calls go overseas. There is a $99.00 diagnostic fee then charged for parts and labor. Tech said it was $149.00 told him I had a 20% off coupon for parts and labor. Told me was not applicable. Still haven't figured out what the extra $50.00 was for if not for labor or parts. when I call can not get an answer. Have never felt so blatently taken advantage of.
I am not a complainer usually very laid back person but this is the worst service I have ever encountered in my life.
We recently scheduled and had a service appointment for our (like new - less than a year old) Kenmore dryer. The service tech came out and did a system check but was unable to fix the issue of it actually doing its job and drying the clothes. He was great minus the fact that we went to use it later that evening only to find our clothing damp after 260 minutes on high heat. We had to wait for an appointment and now have to reschedule and wait for another technician to come out. I have kids and having the clothing pile up is becoming a royal pain and inconvenience.
We have nearly all Kenmore brand appliances (most newer) and there has been a problem with each one. Is anyone else experiencing this sort of problem. They sure do not make products like them used too!
The tech was very professional but the issue was not resolved. He did however tell us he ordered new sensors which would be shipped to our home for the next tech, in the event in would come down to this. Maybe we have ourselves a lemon???
I had service done on my washing machine about 1 week ago. I called for service on Monday, by Thursday my machine was fixed. Great experience! My technician was wonderful and kept me informed the whole time. My appt had a window between 8 & 5, my tech made it possible for it to be at a more convenient time for my work schedule, moving another appt up earlier, so as to make both households happy. Great experience! Thanks for the great service.
When I called the representative, I believe his name was Jerimiah, refused to schedule a service call. My husband got on the phone and repeatedly asked for a customer service supervisor. At one point Jerimiah actually told my husband that he was about to hang up on my husband. After a few terse comments from my husband advising Jerimiah that he really did not want to disconnect the conversation, Jerimiah put a supervisor on the phone, who immediately scheduled a repair date. Obviously, I would not rate Jerimiah very high, however, the technician, Glenn, who responded, was exceptional. Unfortunately, he had to order a replacement part. Glenn returned the following week and made the installation. Glenn gets my highest rating!!! Jerimiah, on the other hand was a complete failure as a customer representative and please feel free to tell both Glenn and Jerimiah my ratings! Please let them know!!
I made my appointment online and that was extremely easy. The service technician was knowledgeable, had the part available to fix the washing machine and offered great pricing for a maintenance agreement for all of the appliances in my home. I was very pleased with the appointment, timing, fix and added services he offered. I would call Sears Appliance Repairs again and again.
Unfortunately I had to wait over a week before the repair was made. The day after the repair was made, the treadmill stopped again. I called again and now I have to wait another week before the repair man comes. It seems to me there should be a mechanism for an "immediate" repair if the previous one did not "take". I understand that another glitch can happen that was not immediately apparent but a wait of one whole week is unacceptable to me.
The serviceman was an obvious expert in his profession. He did a complete tuneup, oil change, blade change and mechanical check of my Bolens lawn tractor in 45 minutes. Had all the parts needed on his truck. Plus Sears had a riding mower service special going on. I'll have him back next year.
Was able to book at appt online in the evening when our washing machine broke mid-cycle. Appt was within 24hrs. Repairman got here the morning of Christmas Eve and knew right away what the problem was and had a part in his truck. Back in business later that morning!
