I had a first onset of sciatica that had me in excruciating pain along with leg weakness, numbness and tingling along with major lower back pain. Could barely ambulate. He takes the time to listen to you and understand your problem. Very insightful. 5 sessions later with Jiang and I am 100% pain free with none of the other issues either. I highly recommend Jiang.

When I first moved to Frederick I started to develop very bad allergies. Since I became one of Dr. Tan's patients I haven't had a single allergy crisis. None! I highly recommend him for his professionalism and dedication to his patients. My husband also has been able to benefit greatly from his treatments.

Dr. Tan is excellent at acupuncture/herbal healing, has a fantastic bedside manner and puts you at ease the moment you walk through the door. He spends time with you to help you find out the root-cause of your illness. I have only been going a short while now (2 months) and I already have a remarkable difference in my body pain, so much so that the pain is almost completely gone. I selected Dr. Tan by googling acupuncture in Frederick. Thank goodness I did! My body was in so much pain. Previous chemo, radiation, and Fibromyalgia diagnosis. I am feeling so much better and sleeping so much better. Dr. Tan not only treats me, but he also cares about me. He is FANTASTIC and I am looking forward to 2017 with less pain!! I couldn't move 1 mm. I was having sharp pains in my lower back anytime I would try to move. A friend of mine told me about Dr. Tan & how he helped him when he couldn't move. When you are in this much pain, don't take time to research or check them out, just go. He helped your friend and he can probably help you. I was seen same day I called because I sensed his compassion in knowing how bad I was feeling. Very rare for doctors today. Happy to report that after my 1st session, I could once again move w/o being stabbed by sharp pains. Felt like a nail sitting on a nerve & if I moved, it would get me and get me good.

He is a very polite man and quite the professional but he understands one thing that a lot of docs don't, he can sense your pain and he does his very best to take YOUR pain away. I thought he was a magician and his massage is top notch. So if you are having a bad back day or something is bothering you, stop researching and just call Dr. Tan. You will be happy that you did.

Can't say anything bad about Dr. Tan-- acupuncture doesn't hurt and seems to work. Very intuitive and compassionate, Dr. Tan reminds us to take care of ourselves to get well. Healing is 30% acupuncture and 70% how you chose to live...simple treatment with excellent results as long as you put your time in as well. Highly recommend this center.

I have been seeing Dr. Tan for acupuncture and acupressure for several months. He has helped me tremendously with my health problems. Dr. Tan is always very gracious and professional.

Dr. Tan is a great doctor who listens to what you have to say and makes you feel very comfortable. He is very courteous and polite. I have been seeing him since April for severe pain on my right hip. I started seeing Dr. Tan about a problem that I have had for 2 years in which 2 gastroenterologists and 1 internist have not been able to diagnose or treat after 2 treatments from Dr. Tan I have had no pain. He has a warm bedside manner which makes me feel very comfortable. He is very professional and I would recommend him to my family and friends.

I started seeing Dr. Tan in early March 2016 for help with fertility and anxiety/stress management. He is very prompt and courteous during each appointment. He was able to identify my problems after just taking my pulse and looking at my tongue, which was very impressive. I have been seeing him for weekly acupuncture treatments, and he is always on time. My sleep started to improve, and I have implemented his suggestions on foods/herbs/drinks to consume and avoid. I also started doing yoga weekly, at his suggestion. After only 5 acupuncture treatments, I became pregnant! This was after 11 long months of trying to conceive, and I am 35 years old. I have been having some chronic lower back pain and was recommended by a friend to go see Dr. Tan. I had never had acupuncture before and -- to be honest -- somewhat skeptical. However, even after the first visit I felt my back muscles were no longer as tight. I had three more weekly sessions and my pain now is almost entirely gone (knock wood!). Dr. Tan also assessed my general state of health on my first visit -- an unexpected perk -- and I know feel that he was indeed VERY knowledgeable about what I needed to do to improve as evidenced by the fact that my symptoms quickly subsided. In a nut shell, I highly recommend Dr Tan -- especially for people who are somewhat skeptical about the benefits of acupuncture. Dr. Tan is a welcoming, kind, caring, effective doctor. He is wonderful about answering questions and providing practical advice. I have been going to Dr. Tan for almost one year now for anxiety management and the treatment has been very successful. I highly recommend Dr. Tan.

Dr. Tan was wonderful and so intuitive to my issues, all based on his findings through my pulse and tongue. The accupuncture was the and painfree. I'm looking forward to my session next week.

Dr. Tan is amazing. I have used physical therapy, shots, and surgery for back issues. Dr. Tan's treatment has give complete relief for the firsr time in years.



The treatments are drug free and include massage. For acupuncture, you don't feel when needles are used. Dr. Tan asks a lot of questions up front and then is very methodical. Dr. Tan gets results in 1-2 treatments unlike others that need dozens of visits. Chinese medicine is amazing.

I just wanted to drop you a note and thank you for seeing me last Wed and providing relief for my lower back. Since your treatment I've not experienced any more muscle spasms or any sharp pain. I'm still a little stiff in the mornings but that gose away quickly once I'm up and moving around.

Dr. Tan is the best doctor and has helped me tremendously! Prior to finding his clinic, I had been to two other acupuncturists in Frederick (one of which was a doctor of Chinese medicine) with no improvement. I have suffered from fibromyalgia, CFS, autoimmune disease and endometriosis for years and have been to many specialists who were unable to help me. But after seeing Dr. Tan for several months I no longer have debilitating fatigue and flu-like symptoms, and my pain level has decreased dramatically. He even cured a cold I had! He is a really kind doctor and is genuinely interested in helping his patients. Because of Dr. Tan I feel like I have a bright future, not one full of illness and physical decline!

My wife thought she would lose her mobility forever when suffering from sharp pain in lower back area. But after two clinic visits with Dr. Tan, my wife recovered so well.
