Does this Envoy/Trailblazer work for your company? If so he purposely passed traffic on Monocacy blvd in the left turn lane for Shifferstat blvd and cut me off in the rain so bad that I had to lock my brakes to avoid an accident! He should not be working as a driver for any company as he is going to kill somebody! His impatience is not a good combination for the road as a profession! If the police would have seen what he did he would have received a wreckless driving ticket! I am posting this on every cab company page as he should be fired! 560 62B is his tag number! Not impressed ! I contact Bowie about a week in advance to schedule a ride in their accessible van. After telling them I needed a ride to a very important dr appt on Wed M au 18. confirmed the 12:30 pick up with Bowie on Monday. 12:30. Wednesday came but no Bowie.. After calling them. I was finally picked up @ 1:20. For a 1:30 appt. Then the driver took me to the wrong addriess! Finally got to my appt at 2:00. -- appt was cancelled Bowie brought me back home. And still charged me. The next day I called Bowie and made a complaint. Being assured that the owners would call me back I felt I was being heard but a week has past and no calls from Bowie. . This is the only wheelchair accessible cab in Fredefrick but it's a joke since it is not meeting the needs of the community and very unprofessional
My experience with this company was on Easter Sunday. I contacted this company to pick up my mother who is wheelchair bound and at a nursing home in Walkersville, Md. They were to pick her up and bring her to her home to have Easter dinner with her family. They never showed to pick her up or called me tell me they were not coming. I had contacted them to make this appointment around March 1 and confirmed it again on March 20. I was assured her name was on their board and there would be no problem. I contacted them the following Monday and asked what happened. They informed me that her name was taken off the board by someone calling and cancelling. I informed him that I made the arrangements and I had not called to cancel so please give me the name of who called and cancelled. It has been four days and I have not heard from them. I personally will never use this company again or recommend them to any of my friends.
Horriable every time I call this company they A never answer the phone or B never show up worst cab service ever!
Bad service, drivers complaining they don't make enough money, but you guys don't have any drivers working between 2 am -5am.
I wish I could tell you about the service!I called earlier in the day (around 4:00 PM) and spoke with a woman who quoted me a price of $14 from Point A to Point B within Frederick. She went on to say that all taxi services in Frederick have the same price. I called another number; which, advertised as another business name, turns out to be the same company (Frederick City Cab & City Cab). She got mad that I was calling around for a better price. I let it go and went on my way.I decided I would need to use their service so called back at 5:15 PM and made a reservation for pick-up at 11:30 PM. I called the other number and got a guy this time – obviously shift change. I made the reservation; however, I got a different story on the fare. “Everything has to run on the meter”, I was told.I explained that the lady just earlier told me that all Frederick cabs have a flat rate in Frederick. He said, “She was wrong and that was only an estimate which could run from $14 to $20”. AND – not all cab services have the same rate. Whether FLAT or meter – I think it is law they have same rate, just thinking. REALLY! I called the other number as before and he asked me, “Why I was calling other numbers”? “I am shopping around; don’t you do that for the best price”? His response was, “I am removing you from the pick-up as it seems you are still calling around” then hung up on me. Now, I really don’t know if this guy was going to pocket the difference or not. After all, why the vastly conflicting stories of service?I called back stating” I want to be picked up and if I found someone I’d call him to cancel”. Why did you hang up? He had no answer with exception to his own logic why I would not be there when the car arrived. OK?!? I am so glad he knows what I am thinking. Because of how I was being treated, I asked for a way to contact the owner for which he replied, “I am in charge here now – I’m the Dispatcher” or should that be Dictator?!? Hopefully not for long I was thinking.I asked him several more times to contact the owner for which he flatly refused. I am writing this as a warning and advise to consumers who would prefer not to be bullied and talked down to when you are soliciting services from a business.This will be my first step. Next, I will contact the city and find the owners contact information. If he is as incompliant or sympathetic to his potential customers, I will register a complaint with the BBB.In summary, this could have gone so much better and the experience prompted more business from me but I don’t think so.Un Happy Non-Customer
