Steak was tough and raw and was supposed to be medium well it is still mooing, the cheese sticks were over done. The waitress told the manger and he compensated us for the steak, when asked if we wanted a go box we said sure I'll take it home for later or for my dog that's when the manger said if we would have told him before he could have tried to fix the meal. Then the statement about giving my dog $30 bucks to feed my dog well we left the go box and paid for the rest. Sorry Glory Days but you blew it today.

Atmosphere: B, Food: C, Service: D- Wednesday 6pm dinner for three. Restaurant was about 1/2 full. We waited 20 minutes and finally had to ask for a waiter (seems they forgot about us). Poor service (they seemed very inexperienced) even as restaurant emptied out. The food was all right, but served barely warm. Salads were brought *after* main courses, and to top it off, about ten minutes after two of us received our entrees, we got the waiter's attention (no small feat) and found that the third entree was never put in, so we had to wait even longer for that. Server's fingers were not only on the inside of the glasses when they were brought over, but the server actually touched the appetizers to move them around! Lastly, bathroom was dirty. I have no idea how this place has lasted so long.
Nice place, good food but Downtown fredeick is such a traffic/ parking mess who would want to go their willingly?
I was visiting Frederick for a Legion Baseball Tournament, and wanted to check out a local pub establishment. This place was great. Marcus leads a very friendly staff that makes everyone feel welcome. They interacted so well with everyone and made the visit easy for several "first timers". The decor is simple and several tvs are available for sports fans! The food ranges from burgers to seafood. I opted for a house burger because that is what I was looking for when I stopped in. Marcus recommended the brussel sprouts as a side. The food was great and the experience was a winner. This is a great place to visit, and a place you will want to come back to.
We got seated almost immediately, was very excited. Then we ordered our appetizers. Waiter came back and took our drinks. We then put in our food order. 10 mins later food came. No appetizers. We ate all our food. Waiter came back and asked if we ever received our appetizers, we said no. He apologized and went back to check on it. Then next the manager comes 20 mins later to tell us that they are sorry, they never got our appetizers. We said it was ok, just as long as we get them. Then 10mins later, the waiter came back. no appetizers, no refills on drinks. I was getting frustrated, I ordered a drink from the bar. He took the order. 10 mins later, no appetizers, no drink refill, no drink from the bar. I was beyond angry. The fact we never got our order, the fact they kept coming back to apologize to tell me that they are getting it, the fact that I said just give me my bill, they didn't offer to compensate us for our wait, it was obvious we were irritated. For a new restaurant it's already showing the poor management, the poor communication, the poor customer relations. Definitely not impressed.
Called and made a reservation but upon arrival was greeted outside, why I don't know. Then was told there was no reservation for our party. Do you think they attempted to accommodate us? Not a chance. As a new business getting started they might want to pull their britches out of their rear end.
Servers are nice, food is great. The draft selection isn't excellent (always end up with yuengling) but aside from that, I love this place.
After reading other reviews, my husband & I were nervous about going here w/friends. We needn't have been! The service was great as was the food! We had the fish & chips & could see why they were listed as the best in Frederick. The piece of fish was huge-could easily feed 2-& was perfectly battered & cooked. They weren't heavy-handed w/the Old Bay either. My husband had the shepherd's pie & it was excellent! It is served in a bread bowl & was very flavorful & fresh tasting. The noise level is pretty high but it IS a pub after all! Loved the woodwork & feel of the place. We're already talking return trips!
