Business History
In the fall of 1979, Don was granted permission to take the Metropolitan-Nashville-Davidson County Master Plumber Examination. At that time he was the youngest person in the history of Nashville to obtain his plumbing license. In the beginning, Wood Plumbing Company’s primary area of service was residential dwellings in Williamson County. The early years were extremely difficult as the building industry went into a recession. The recession, along with an extended illness of the company’s owner, almost brought an end to the business. However, the building industry and Don Wood rebounded, and from that point forward, Wood Plumbing Company has experienced solid and steady growth. As the company grew, Don saw the need to incorporate. On July 31, 1984, the company became Don Wood Plumbing Company, Inc. The company not only grew in size, but also grew in the scope of its projects.

I hired Don Wood to do a simple $2000 job. What a disaster!!!! He failed two city inspections and I had to get him back out to the job three times!!! He had raw sewage pumping out under my house and didn't hook up the shower drain either. Also he back charges you for coming back to the job and he will sue you and take you to court if you don't pay!!! He sued me. He is a crook!!!
Good luck Darryl A.

Don Wood is a crook and will screw people over how ever he can. I know for a fact the he handed out a paper to his employees asking them to get on and put good reviews because he only had 5 and 3 of the 5 were bad so be careful when u read the good ones because they make be fake just to make him look better. He has employees on the job who have failed drug test and he fires the ones that pass. I can prove everything I am saying is true. He back charges all his employees for a job if something is messed up rather than use his own insurance so that away he can double his money. If you dont agree to a back charge which is illegal he will fire you. With the exception of about 5 plumbers there the rest and drug addicts and drunks so I wouldnt take my chances on using them for anything.

Pleased with Don Wood Plumbing

I've called Don Wood Plumbing for a couple of different jobs. They were very thorough in diagnosing and fixing the problems. Each problem has been fixed to my satisfaction by a knowledgeable plumber. Their prices are very reasonable. I would recommend Don Wood Plumbing to a friend.

Never showed up for a scheduled appt. with 1 day notice

I took of work to meet them, they set a 2 hour window to show up. 3/4 of the way through that time frame, I called and they said they would have to call me back. They did and said they were running late and they would come when finished. I called back an hour later and they said they were going to another appt. and would be over as soon as they finished. They called back about an hour later and said they would come by later the next morning.

I schedule the service the morning before for the next afternoon. They said the ""Boss"" told then to take the other ""emergency calls"" before my schedule appt.

I doubt that!
