We went there for lunch after completing a business meeting in Franklin. One our guys said we should try Daily Dish and I had no idea how good it would be. I got coconut chicken with mashed potatoes and corn. The serving sizes were huge for everything, including the chicken, which was awesome: 3 pieces of boneless chicken and the coating was super tasty. Can't wait until our next Franklin meeting so I can go there again.

I have been there two times and both times and it has been the same the person taking the order is very rude. As with most people lunch is a break and there food is not good enough for me to put up with an egotistical server. I will not be going back.

This place has passed through several hands in recent years, but the latest iteration is called ""Daily Dish"". This place has the gall to change you over 8 dollars for a meat and two when half of the dishes are repurposed from yesterday's dishes and everything has been sitting on the hot bar for hours. They like to reuse proteins in stews and various sauced up dishes that I avoid like the plague. It's great that they're not throwing away food, but the repurposed food always tastes repurposed. If I couldn't tell, I wouldn't say anything, but I can tell.
On top of that, everything there is lacking soul. Everything is anglicized: neatly presented and without flavor.
Stay away from their 8 dollar sandwiches too. Just dreadful wonderbread sandwiches.
Desserts are morbidly awful too. Expensive and without flavor.

I was excited to try the Daily Dish's Sunday brunch, but a bit disappointed. Due to space limitations, the buffet is presented in a rather cafeteria-like manner. This does not affect the quality of the food, of course, but it does make it appear much less appetizing. Additionally, even though the crowd is small, you have to wait in the line to get anything you need. This can take several minutes. The food was acceptable and edible, but not outstanding at all. The ""fresh"" fruit was not - strawberries had some age on them. The biscuits are heavy and somewhat bland. The biggest disappointments were the made-to-order eggs and waffles. It took so long for them to arrive that we had finished our buffet food and were no longer hungry. Overall, I love the idea, but the execution is lacking. We would not return for brunch, but might try regular lunch.
