General Info
We’re in this with you, to help you get the care you need, safely. Vanderbilt Health has restarted surgeries, procedures and clinic visits that were paused or delayed. Safety is our top priority, with measures that follow – and in some cases exceed – local, state and CDC public health recommendations. Everyone wears a mask – patients, visitors, doctors, nurses and staff. We’re sanitizing rooms between each patient, and cleaning public spaces frequently throughout the day. We’re checking everyone for fever and symptoms before they enter our facilities. We’ve spaced chairs in waiting areas, limited the number who can ride elevators at once and made other changes so we can keep a safe (6 feet) physical distance. And telehealth visits may be an option if you and your doctor agree it is right for your care. More info at KeepingSafe

Do not go for a mammogram. The dressing closet is between the reception area and technician area. You are ushered in and out of this high traffic area in a gown braless holding your purse. People are lingering asking questions/lost etc... When you come out of the mammogram you are carrying your purse and trying to keep your gown together in the back. When I came out, a man was lingering asking the technicians questions while I was trying to get back in the closet to get dressed. I would not say the staff was rude but they were not what I call engaged with the patient or friendly. Reception staff was more concerned with shopping online. I am only doing one star in order to post. I will not go back.

Worst experience ever!!!!!! We came 20 minutes early, then they moved us to a later time. So we are stuck waiting for more than an hour, and we are still waiting!!!

Prepare for humiliation! First, the employees at the front desk are much more interested in their conversations than in helping you. The best part was the mammogram! They tell you to disrobe from the waist up, put on the flimsy hospital gown (typical so far, right?), then go wait in the waiting area that is filled with other people including several men!!! I'm in a flimsy hospital gown with no bra! Just no common sense. Took forever too and then they argued with me that my doctor didn't order the mammogram so I had to wait for them to get her on the phone.

I went to the imaging center for a yearly mammogram, and the ladies there were excellent. They handled my x-ray experience with the up-most comfort possible. I would recommend using them to everyone.

Couldn't ask for more.....

Thank you to everyone at The Cool Springs Surgery Center. I couldn't have asked for anything more from any of you.

The staff is very friendly, compassionate, professional and a true pleasure to work with. From the time I walked in until the time I left, I never saw an unfriendly face and I was treated by each staff member as if I was family.

The facility is easy to find and designed for easy access with a welcoming feel.

For those like me that need to spend the night, you'll find plenty of lodging nearby at affordable prices and a wide variety of restaurants to choose from.

When I first learned I was having surgery at "Cool Springs" instead of the hospital I was I little nervous. Now I have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone.

Thanks again...
