I know Boomer is well taken care of at Creekside Kennels. He gets plenty of yard time and can play with other dogs. The owner is very careful placing dogs together and Boomer has a great time. The valley is incredibly beautiful and Boomer gets to breathe fresh air away from all the traffic where we live.
This is a very well run business. We have left our dogs (3) there and they seem to really enjoy it. The owner is a very nice man and he is trying to build it up. It is a little out of the way, but well worth it.
We love Paulas and so do our two big babies (mastiff and rottweiler). Our dogs are always happy to go and actually shake with excitement when we pull in. When we get them back they do not smell and you can tell that they had a good time!
We are so grateful that Paula's Pet Paradise is in Franklin. We have used other kennels for our two dogs and they were okay, but Paula's is the BEST anywhere in this area. The staff treats our dogs like their own. Our two dogs used to be hyper and frantic when we picked them up. Now, they don't want to leave with us. We have always found it to be immaculate, smells great and have nothing but praise for Ken and the other staff. I wish we could give more than a 5 star rating!
Never ever again! We used to be fans of Paula’s pet paradise. After using their daycare services on numerous occasions, we decided to leave our two Labradors for a weekend. We dropped them off on Friday early afternoon bringing two large beds one for each, only a small kennel was open when we arrived giving us second thoughts, but Ken assured us another double kennel was opening up within the hour. One bed was placed in the kennel and one was leaned against the opposing wall. When we returned on Sunday, our two full size labs were in the same kennel as the day we left and the bed was still leaning in the same spot outside their kennel. Our dogs were laying on a bed saturated with urine, with a large pile of poop next to the kennel entrance as well as on toys we brought for them; no one ever let our dogs out of that kennel for two days. We confronted Ken and he said he had cleaned their kennel at 7:30 A.M that morning, well after I carried the bed dripping with urine outside I knew he was lying yet again. I will be contacting someone in the Macon county government to file a complaint. If you are like us and love your pets, please avoid Paula’s and find someone that cares about your animals.
