        East Franklin Elementary School is a public institution that offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades kindergarten through five. Located in Franklin, N.C., the school has an enrollment of 320 students and has been a School of Distinction since 1998. There are more than 25 certified personnel, secretary, data manager, teacher assistants, bus drivers and custodians. The school has a drama club and journalism club for students. The parent-teachers organization works towards providing students and staff with the assistance they need. All the parents of children at East Franklin Elementary School are members of the PTO. The PTO holds regular meetings throughout the school year. The school is affiliated with the Macon County Schools.
