DO NOT RENT HERE. The landscaping is beautiful but that’s the ONLY upside. They nickle and dime for EVERYTHING upon vacating. They say you can hang pictures but then charge you to repaint! If you want to throw away money this place is for you. Otherwise look elsewhere. Park place one is beautiful and much better run
Forest Station Apartments fooled me with their green grass and beautiful trees. My worst experience was the ability to hear the residents above and below me conversations and sexual activity very CLEAR. It made me wonder if they could hear my private conversations. Oh! and management is HORRIBLE!
I've lived here 2 years and this place was the only place I could find at the time so I moved right in because the exterior looks great! But there is MICE AND BUG infestation galour I pay serious money between traps and poison and bug killlers just to keep my space clean! You see the bugs crawling all over the entrance, emergency exits and hallways! I have to settle until I find a way out! But SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE! It's way over priced for as filthy as it is!

Roaches for months and terrible management with no one above the local director to talk to. Also, dirty in the common areas and outside around the property.
Building has one 1920's elevator that is often out of order or doesn't work because inner door was not closed all the way. Recently, the outer doors on the 1st & 3rd floors and the floor were replaced but it's still the same 1920's guts. The back door to the dumpster doesn't lock & only has alarm. The dumpster area has no evening lighting. Building has several cameras but the 2 large ones are pointed towards the walls & I doubt that the others work. The janitorial staff is inadequate for this building. Debris is left in the hallways & stairwell for days or weeks & carpets are disgusting. Roaches get bad in the summer. Proper disposal of trash & cleaning up after pets needs to be enforced or more janitorial staff is needed to clean up after tenants. Some tenants leave trash anywhere except INSIDE the dumpster and also leave dog feces in the back & front lawns, hallways, and even the elevator. Maintenance is slow to respond to service requests. Rent is increased 5% yearly.
I have lived here for about a year now and I am more than happy with the service of this new property manager. He is quick to respond, and very attentive to resident's needs. Aside from that, the atmosphere here at The Bentley has climbed since when I first moved in. I love living here!
I never used this business before. I'm interested in a cheap 1 bed room apartment, or just a room to rent monthly.
my name is francine fennell .I have to move out of my apt 2 years ago I have know here to go this lady that only this home take people in until they can get back on they feed I pay 150 a week my job have to close down for 4 month you see I am a union manager in food service at temple university the building that I work in was close and 4 other one also I didn;t have know other come just my S S check that I get on the 3 week every month the landlord say that she could not take because of the time and days that I get my S S check cause the only say that word be to late the landlord told her that by me working 4 days a week for just for 4 1/2 Hr I can pay for late she still say sorry she understand that the job is a Suisse but the rent is do on the first so I have to gave up my apt I have been able to get another all I am asking for a 2nd chance a efficiency or a studio I can pay up to 750 a mo .my email is email@example.com .I am a good person they know Suisse with me I don't have party .this all I ask I am 72 don look is and I do drive and I still work
The only reason UCH is getting one star is because I like the size of my apartment. That is where it ends. I unfortunately am a current resident of UCH and truly have never had such a horrible experience with renting an apartment. Where to start?First, when I walked through to look at the apartment and I saw some concerns before I signed the lease, I decided to voice them and ask if they would be taken care of before move-in. I was told absolutely they would be, that before every move-in the apartment is cleaned, painted, and necessary repairs are done. NONE of that happened. So here is my move- in conditions and problems I have encountered within the first month of living here. There was still crap from the previous owners (I HAD TO CLEAN UP.) The bathroom was so filthy when I moved in that I actually had scrub it from top to bottom (twice) and soak the bathtub in bleach to remove the filth and mold. Everything was painted shut (windows and doors). The "new" cheap paint they used is already peeling off and falling all over my apartment everywhere I turn, especially since they painted over the copious amounts of dust, dirt, and hair I can still see through the "new" paint. As well as they painted over old peeling paint, so paint is constantly falling. The electrical in this building is shotty. i wouldn't doubt that it's definitely not up to code. One of the outlets pulled out from the wall completely, some don't work, some spark, and some work only sometimes. Now in the kitchen, oh the kitchen. First, the fridge broke and the freezer door doesn't seal shut. The floor.. well it wasn't sealed down properly so almost every edge was peeling up when I moved in. Because of this, I got to see what is underneath - the old laminate flooring that was filthy (like inches of dirt and grime). A hole between the floor and wall. A rip under the fridge. And in the built-ins on the wall it is just the older floor, so there is a gap between the flooring. Therefore, this leaves lots of places for the bugs to come through which I have already experienced the roaches (among other bugs- spiders, a tick, god only knows what else). Also in the built-ins the paint is peeling do bad that every time I open a door the paint chips. The windows are not only so filthy that is gives that "cloudy" look to them but the screens don't fit. They legitimately just put a piece of screening in most windows that half covers the windows. The door knobs on some doors fall off. I have complained MULTIPLE times, I have been on the phone with this horrid company every week (a few times a week sometimes) about these few things. They have lied about how they will fix things and nothing is done properly. They told us twice they would replace the kitchen floor (and bathroom) and never did. Then said it was a miscommunication between us and them. No it wasn't they actually wrote me two emails saying "we will be replacing your kitchen floor" and then were unsure of why it didn't happen and then decided well never mind. This week I found out that they control the heat, not me. Me and my boyfriend were definitely not informed of this what-so-ever. When we said why didn't anyone tell us that, they said it was our fault for not asking. Out of all the places I have rented I have never had to ask about control the temperature of my building because I always had that right. Its middle of september and they already turned it on. It's still in the 70's outside. WORST COMPANY EVER. Cheap. They don't care about tenants or building codes. Wouldn't doubt if this building is not up to any building code. Don't be fooled by the young "hipster" (as I have seen in other reviews) staff. Don't rent from uch
