Nice older place. Staff is wonderful which really adds to the experience. My daughter had the Pork Fried Rice, very good nice taste and not dry. I had the Pork egg foo young, paties were nice size for a lunch portion and tasted wonderful.The sauce was somewhat bland I wish I had ordered it on the side like I usually do. I also had the Wanton soup, very good ( see photo). The area around Eastland was the place to go when I was in high school. It has been on the decline for years but this place is a little gem in the area. I will be back.

Super great food. Have so many choices, making this place great for a good lunch or indulging dinner. The food is very flavorful, and I really enjoy the Szechuan menu. I've eaten here numerous times and never felt bad, so I don't understand some of the other comments. I really enjoy this restaurant and plan to return. Give this place a try!
If I have to compare with nearby restaurants, the food that I ordered here was okay. Ordered 2 dishes and an appetizer totaled to $32 and was charged automatic gratuity (for a party of 2). Total bill was $40 for lunch time. Since they just opened, beware that they may not have full menu available - at least this was told by one of the server. This excuse is unacceptable.Edit: they are using MSG heavily. Both of us experiencing headache afterward.
Amazing food! If you are craving flavorful food that leaves your taste buds craving more, and if like eating in a relaxing atmosphere, then you have to check out HY Asian cuisine. Also, the first few pages of the menu are translated into english. Do not fret, just point at a random dish and enjoy!
After reading some of the reviews I was a little leary of eating here. The food was fresh, waitress was nice and asked if we wanted refills on our drinks. It states as you walk in the door 1 free refill on drinks but it has been mentioned in many reviews I've read that they were not offered.
The food was very well prepared with generous portions. The waitstaff was attentive as well. As very nice dinning experience.
The meat quality has went through the floor. The chicken doesn't taste like chicken at all. Threw out my entire meal. Tried again a few weeks later and ordered a different chicken dish. Same poor quality. It's sad because their sauces are some of the best. But with clear, rubbery chicken it doesn't matter.
