Very poor customer service. We went there today at 12:05. Waitress told us to write down our name and come back in 20 minutes. We came back at exactly 12:25 pm and were told that our name was called 10 minutes ago. And now they have to move us to the end of the queue. What kind of logic is that? We came back at exactly the time we were told to. And instead of seating us right away, they moved us to the end of the queue! We just walked to the Chinese Restaurant (MingChu) couple house down and had a great lunch. I hope Sweet Basil Thai House knows that they are not the only restaurant in Foster City.

Wow this place is so great! I lived in Foster City for a couple of years before I heard of it and I'm so glad I have discovered this restaurant.
The food is great, I went there this past weekend and had chicken pad thai, salad rolls and chicken wings. Everything was super good. I have also ordered take out from here quite a bit and they deliver it right to your door it's great! It's nice to have another home delivery option other than pizza! If you're a fan of thai food and live in the area I suggest you try this place out. I am definitely a regular now :)
The reastaurants website is really nice, it has all of the menu items and you can order your delivery/take out right on the website!
I LOVE this place. I always order the Pad See Lew with chicken, EXTRA EXTRA SPICY!
They are sooo kind to you as a customer. My mother, who had never tried Thai food before, decided to go with me, and they were so helpful in educating her about the food, what might be a great choice for starters, and they didn't even charge us the appetizers until who found something we liked.
I'm always in a rush, and so, it was nice to order and wait no more then 10 minutes, usually on a Wednesday, 4minutes....yeah, not even 5!
The noodles taste fresh, and nothing is ever burnt. The only problem is parking, but I usually just walk over from school.
Don't be afraid to ask about recomendations or starters. They are always willing to help out. And they have delivery too....i think?
Good Luck! Enjoy!
