Harvest Christian Academy is an amazing educational experience! As an HCA alumnus, this school allowed me to develop good character traits as I received a solid education. They helped me excel academically, athletically, and spiritually. I highly suggest looking into this school! It is a wonderful place filled with people who want you to succeed!

If i could give 0 stars I would. This woman beats the children and screams and curses at them, idk how she has slid through CPS so many times. DO NOT GO HERE
Ark recently came under new ownership, and I could not be more satisfied. They provide a stable and safe environment for my two kids and they love it there. Everyday I pick them up they always rave about Ms. May- the administrator at ark. Highly Recommend for anyone!!
I have had my child here for 6 months and just love this academy and daycare! The staff really teaches a great curriculum and tends to the children's needs. The owners are friendly and extremely helpful. I highly recommend Astro tots Academy.
Well first very disorganized. Worker in hall talking much to aggressive to a youg child. No Windows and staff looked unhappy. I would never send my child or grandchild there.
This day was awesome until it was sold a few months ago. The staff all left and the new owners hired all new uneducated staff to fill a spot not for the benefit of the children at all. My daughter is 4 and over the last few weeks she had told me that the teacher grabbed her arm so hard she cried. Mrs Ella doesnt allow her to go to the restroom or wash her hands. I picked her up early and from the front gate I could hear the teacher yelling at the 4 year olds. I have pulled my daughter and many other children are being pulled by their parents. Please do not trust your children in their care.
Dirty, does not maintain the school or buy materials for children to learn and engage in activities. Management does not care about safety and does not do anything about children who are severely hurting other children. Management does not step in to help teachers, they sit on their phones up front and in the office all day. You do not get what you pay for here.
The effect that the Learning Well Academy has had in the life of my child and our family is remarkable. My child has some developmental delays, and in the last 6 months since my child started attending the Learning Well Academy their behavior has greatly improved and their communication has exploded. Every day we see improvements, mark milestones, and see prayers answered. The Learning Well Academy is a remarkable school and attending has had the greatest impact out of all the things we have done for our child’s development and happiness.
My son has been attending this school for a year and a half. I am very impressed with how the teachers care for the kids, challenge them academically and nurture their psychosocial learning. The school feels like a family. I watch the teachers and kids greet each other with hugs. Disagreements always end amicably. The school is located in an old church. It isn't very attractive from the outside like some other facilities, but I know my child is safe, cared for, challenged and happy. The school was recently rebranded and I love the new look. Due to holidays, my son has experienced three other facilities in the area. The results after just one day in each of these places, were dramatically different than Trail Lake. He was agitated at one place because some kids were being mean to someone and the teacher didn't intervene. He was scared at another one because the kids were wild, no order and no direction from the glorified babysitters. I've never experienced that at Trail Lake. The people here are wonderful and from a financial perspective, what a great value!
It was absolutely horrible. My son only attended on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On my son's first day, he was left with his clothes soaked because nobody would help him when using the restroom. The following week, my son was scratched across the side of his left eye. A report was filed by the principal. I was told they were "getting a handle on the situation." I was told the child responsible had a problem with attacking other children. I suggested that this child be seperated from mine until the problem is taken care of. That Thursday was more of the same, he was scratched under his left eye this time. My son told me the same child scratched him again, and he didn't want to go back. No report was filed by the principal, and I decided to keep my son out of the school for a week so they could "get a handle on the situation." Upon bringing him back, my son was scratched again, and had a burn mark on his left forearm. The principal filed a report about my son being scratched, but failed to see the injury to my son's forearm. My wife contacted the principal, but to our amazement, she never called back after two weeks of waiting. My wife and I decided the best thing to do, was to remove our son from this school.
