        Teague lumber was founded in 1944 by R.J. Teague. His business philosophy is "sell quality products at a fair price''. R.J. retired at the young age of 97. His son Jim now runs the business along with his Grandsons Randy Stogsdill and Paul Teague.         I am a Multifamily Developer and my experience with Teague Lumber was deplorable. I telephonically ordered fiber-cement siding and sent a company representative to pick up the order. What I received was fiber backed siding. Upon arriving to the jobsite I immediately realized their error, left the siding banded on still loaded on a trailer, and scrambled to find the correct material late on a Friday afternoon. I was able to locate the correct material and avoid a production delay for the project. When I notified Paul Teague and returned the material I was charged a 20% restocking fee for their mistake. (Please take note that the material was never touched, still banded and was unloaded from the trailer in under 2 minutes by a fork lift who simply stacked the material on the original stack in their yard). I contested the restocking fee and was told that it was their policy on all returns. I do not recommend Teague Lumber.
