We took in a pas system weedeater and hedge trimmer where the shaft kept falling out. These guys took 7 weeks! To get my equipment back! Called 17times everything was suppose to be under warranty which they didn’t care for. They charged me for stuff that I didn’t want done I needed a carb replacement on a two month old model I’ve been putting the echo made gas for. And the shaft for hedge trimmer. They sharpened the blades and charged me 96$. They told me they had to wait on warranty to approve then I found out by another employee that hadn’t even called warranty place this was after four weeks of them having my equipment I only have two so my entire business was struggling while
This was in there. They finally said they got approved would have it fixed and out the next day. That they would call us they didn’t. Six more
Phone calls and three trips and they had the audacity to say the part never came in for them to fix it. Two more weeks and another pissed off visit finally got my equipment back. Just to get home and the stuff not work -_-
I rarely share an experience I've had with a business, but Leonard's is terrible. They don't communicate with each other, nor their customers. Their telephone skills are lacking, and I question their integrity. I purchased my Toro Zero Turn from Leonard's so when I needed warranty work done, I took it to them. I took my mower in and told the service man I had a small engine mechanic look at it and he said it needed a new coil. I had checked the warranty and confirmed that it had a 3 year warranty. The service man said it would take a week to 10 days. The entire experience was terrible. I called and was put on hold for 4-5 minutes, 3 different times, and I had to hang up and call back. After numerous calls, they finally got to my mower, 2 weeks later, and after checking everything, they finally decided it needed a coil. They reported they were waiting for approval from Kohler. They finally told me that it had only a 2 year warranty and they could repair it for $79.95, and it would take another week. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he confirmed the warranty as 2 years. I called back and asked to speak to the manager and explained the situation. He checked on it and called me back later, and confirmed that I was right. I don't believe that the people that sell this equipment, don't know the warranty on the engines. I checked and all their engines have 3 year warranties. I think it's criminal. I had to wait another week to pick up my mower, so it took them 3 weeks. I will never set foot in this store again.
Terrible service. Now that shane, their great parts guy is no longer their, I won't be going back. Everyone else there is clueless as well as rude. I took a commercial trimmer in, when I finally picked it up, it was in pieces and they said it wasn't worth fixing. They still charged me $40.00. The sad thing is I would have bought a new one from them, but i went elsewhere due to their attitude. I've been in the lawn business over 30 years and have bought most everything from them. My loyalty will be some where else now.

This is not the place I used to know when it was downtown. I took my echo trimmer to this place to be repaired on the 6th day of march it is now the 5th of april and they just told me it is still not fixed.This is the worst experence I have ever had with any place.The counter guys have to be the rudist people I have ever met I will not purchase anything from them ever again. If you do any kind of buisness with leonards good luck to you

I have a tree service and have been in business for 20 years. When I need parts for my saws, I gladly avoid Leonards if possible. The manager is belligerent. The counter staff is knowledgeable, but things like giving me the contractor discount are frowned upon. I actually watched an assistant manager give the parts guy ""the look"" for ringing me up with my discount.
Years ago, I bought two Echo chainsaws from them and within 6 months both were inoperable. After I took them back and explained the problems, the manager rolled his eyes at me like I didn't have a clue about chainsaws. I paid for a service on both saws so that they would determine the problems on my dime.
The shop did a routine service at about $75 per saw and didn't even check to make sure they ran. After their ""repairs"", bothsaws only sputtered and could not be used. WHICH WAS THE SAME PROBLEM I DESCRIBED WHEN I BROUGHT THEM IN.
If you like bad service & being treated like a moron by some overweight lackwit (not sure how that idiot even became a manager), by all means use Leonards. Otherwise avoid at all costs.

Awful customer service. Do NOT buy any machinery or accessories for your
machinery here. They refuse to let you return it, even if it's defective or doesn't work for
your machine. They sold me a very expensive accessory for my mower and
did not tell me that it wouldn't work as intended for my model mower. They were
rude and sarcastic, telling me: (quote) ""You should have done your homework"" (end quote).
HUH? The customer is suppose to do their homework? How about the dealer knowing about
the products they sell""? I've spent thousands in this store over the past 10 years and when I needed them to come through for me on a valid return, they treated me very badly, verbally and service wise. I eventually had to take my complaint to the Toro company and they took care of the problem, with no help from Leonard's. They have lost my business and my money forever. And, I WILL spread the word...beware of Leonard's. I have to give them a ""one star"" because there's no choice for a ""zero star"".
They did an authorized repair for my Toro lawnmower that failed after 70 days. I asked them to repair it again since Toro will reimburse them in full for any authorized repairs that fail within one year. The owner (short, bald guy) said that they only cover repairs for 45 days and that Toro would not reimburse them. When I called Toro corporate, they said that it was indeed covered and to go to another authorized service center instead to get the work done since Leonard's would not do it. The owner was unhelpful and snotty about not wanting to help at all. I would NEVER go back there again.

Went there for some parts for my Cub Cadet 123 Hydrostatic drive lawn tractor built in the 60's. They had the parts I needed in stock & at a fair price. The counterman was very knowledgable about my tractor & new just what I needed & how to perform the maintenance I was going to do. He even offered to help me carry my stuff to the car. I collect International Harvester light line trucks,tractors,etc. & was very impressed with the way I was treated at Leonard's. Leonard's has been around a long time. They were downtown since around the 1930's & are a part of Fort Worth's history as well as a fine establishment to shop at.
