My review is based on the review of K.B. on 12/14/16. I think saying a company raped him is very offensive considering the person "per his review" advised him the price is $130 and up for a Hi-Limit switch. It isn't up to this customer to set the price for a business to charge him. Maybe if he had called another Air Conditioning company he would have been sold a brand new unit instead of a $225 service call to fix a part. I think trying to tarnish a business because you didn't agree with the price is a horrible tactic. Shame on you K.B.
I called this company out today to fix my heater issue , the tech came out looked at my heater unit found that the Hi-Limit switch went out in my unit, I asked how much we are looking at he said the Hi-limit switches run around $130 and up plus service call and labor, so he went out to his service vehicle to get the part came back in and said the Hi-limit switch cost $175 plus the $50.00 comes to $225.00 I said I just had $200 cash he said he would discount the $25.00 which was nice for him to do and I was appreciative of that, but after he left I called around and looked up the goodman hi limit he replaced because I thought $175.00 was pretty high and they showed several different Hi-limit switches so I went with highest priced they showed to have and it was only $35.00 that's it ! , don't get me wrong I don't have a problem with a company making money that's how you stay in business but he could of doubled it made it $70.00 but no he made it $175.00 that's a huge jump on price and feel that's not right at all so I will not recommend this company or call them again based on their pricing method nothing with making money but do not rape the customer on price in which that's what they did here !
Russ and Ryan installed an entirely new system in my 80-year-old house in November 2015. It wasn't cheap, but Russ convinced me that it would more than pay for itself in the long haul -- and it has. My total electric bills for the 12 months after it was installed were about $1100. I had been running above $200/month. Plus the system is quiet and comfortable. I'm completely satisfied.
Extraordinary service. Our fan was blowing but the air conditioning unit fan was not turning. It was getting hot & it was mid afternoon. I found A/C service on YP and called. Within 2 hours Ryan came out and had our A/C back on.
He showed us exactly what was wrong. Fixed it. Prompt, very fair price, no upselling just honest service. Wow - we are very happy - Highly recommend and will use again.
A/C Service and Repairs has installed three complete systems for me over the years; the first in my old office building, the second in my first house, and the third in my second house!
Russ and / or Ryon have serviced each of them twice a year, and I have never had a problem – ever.
There were plenty of problems with the existing units before I replaced them, and Russ kept those alive for as long as feasible – but there comes a time to just get rid of the junk and “go in new.”
A/C Service and Repairs have proved themselves to be excellent technicians – their installations always have “clean” fit and finish. Gas lines, vent pipes, drains, etc. are mounted correctly and “dressed” properly. It’s good to know someone that takes pride in their work, and can be trusted to do the job right.
My mother found this company on the internet, looked at the reviews on line here. All of them are great sounding, to my delight all of what was posted here is very, very true. Reviews are what we use, as most people do. Believe these reviews, trust me and my mom. Great service AtoZ.
I came home after being away for a few days and found my A/C not working as it should be. Being new to the area i didn't know who to call so I just looked A/C companies up online and found Russ Allen.
Russ sent out his son Ryon. Super nice guy! Ryon figured out what the issue was immediately. Ordered the parts and had it fixed 2 hours later. My house is cool again and I'm very thankful.
These guys will now be my A/C guys.

They were a life saver. Temps over 100 outside. AC goes out. I call and they were here in 30 minutes. identified the problem. Ordered the parts and came back and installed a new fan motor. All wrapped in about 5 hours from the time we called to the time we had AC working.
I had Russ and Ryon put in 2 new HVAC complete systems in my home in north Fort Worth. They completely performed way above any of my expectations. The quality of the installation plus the complete knowledge of both on heating and cooling systems that both have amassed thru the years is nothing short of amazing. They answered all questions that I had during the install and also took the time to show me potential problems I could have encountered had I not went with a new system, and explained how the problems will not happen with a newer designed system. Both are fine gentlemen and as far s I am concerned, they will be on speed dial on my phone as well as my wife's. Fast, friendly, professional service that you just do not see in this day and age. You cannot go wrong having Russ and Ryon help with your needs...
Excellent, extremely professional, and honest. They checked my system out when it quit blowing cold and gave me multiple options. They explained the causes of my issues and showed me the evidence. They were very quick to resolve the issues I had, even though it was well into summer. Very clean and professional installation. They were a pleasure to deal with. I have found the AC company that I will call from now on.
Quick service, I called early on Friday and they came out and found the problem that day. They had to come back to do the job on Saturday after they got the parts and were finished around noon. Now we have good cool air from a very good job by nice guys. They found out my compressor was still under warranty so that saved money too.

I needed a new system (inside and out). They seemed all-right at first but they were more expensive and I wasn't sure about how they were going to install it so I went with someone else. About a month later I get a note (from the City of FW) on my door saying I didn't apply for a permit. I call the City and they have an anonymous complaint about AC work without a permit. I can't be sure but I think it is these guys that submitted the complaint.
Thinking back the owner was pushy on his selling tactics. I would not use them.
If I understand this correctly, I’ve been given a low rating and a negative comment for not even doing this work. This customer (Jeff) should be upset with the company that he hired and contracted with to do the work and not me for not permitting this with the city. I did not do this work and cannot even find a (Jeff) on any of my bids for this summer. This customer must have put this review on the wrong business listing. We have state and local codes to deal with. By doing this work to code, can make the job more expensive. It’s to your benefit to have it done to code. More than likely your contractor simply forgot to permit it. It’s not right to slander a company for not even doing the work because you think (these guys submitted the complaint). We work very hard to get these ratings and reviews and want to keep it that way. We now have a negative rating and for what reason! I would appreciate the removal of this fictitious revue. Russ Allen
We first dealt with another A/C company who told us we needed a new A/C, so decided to get a second opinion. After doing some research, A/C Service & Repairs company stood out because of their rave reviews. Mr. Allen was very gracious and agreed to come to my home, outside of his area. We were not disappointed, not only did he offer an alternative to installing a new unit, he charged almost half what the first company was going to charge to add freon to our unit. Thanks to the excellent service and honest nature of Mr. Allen, we have been cool all summer and did not have to spend $6,000 !!
These men are amazing. Inspite of their busy schedule, they were able to replace my unit as well as the outside by the following week. I was very comfortable having them in my personal space (bedroom) where the unit is above my shower.
They were very professional and was done within 8 hours.
My new unit is perfect and very cold at times which I had no idea I was missing out on all these years.

Excellent service. They came to my house late in the day to look at a minor problem, and discovered a big one. Insteaed of leaving and coming back another day, they stayed and worked dilligently until the job was completed. They were courteous and informed me fo ways I can fix things and save some money.
Wonderful company. Prompt service, polite, friendly, and very professional. Took the time to walk me through how to use the electronic thermostat to help reduce enegy costs. I would recommend this company to any and will be using them for all my 6 month services and any repairs for the future.!
All the reviews I read are completely accurate about A/C Service & Repairs Co. Justin and Ryan were very cordial, professional and knowledgeable. The went the extra mile without charging an arm and a leg. In fact I was very pleasantly surprised at how little they charged me for there time and service. I would recommed them in a heartbeat to anyone with any AC problem. They not only showed up within a couple hours after I called, they identified and corrected my problem in the first ten minutes and then went the extra yard to thoroughly clean the condensor coils.
I had water leaking out of my A/C but couldn't figure out from where or why. Called AC Service and Repair and they had someone on their way within the hour. Very impressed with the service, they knew exactly what was wrong, fixed it, and showed me how to prevent my A/C from leaking again.
Will definitely call them again if anything else goes wrong.
