I purchased a car 90 day same as cash had the car for less than 90 days when I started having transmission problems. I experienced this when I went out of town overnight while driving,my car lost power completely decelerating while driving. I had to keep pulling over just to get to my destination. The very next day I had to get home and about an hour into driving I start to experience the same problem,the car starts to decelerate and I had to pull over with on a 70 mph I call the owner Joe who then sent me to voicemail. I left him a message explaining what was happening. I then call Sam (who sold me this lemon) no answer I call the shop which I almost never get an answer but a fax signal. It took me 3 additional hours just to get home. That is when the check engine light came on. I made it back to TX I immediately got a diagnostic done on the car and it says Transmission assembly replace. With about 3 diff codes. I called again (Monday morning) spoke with Sam and was told there’s nothing he can do! As a professional courtesy he didn’t even offer or ask me to bring in the car I still had a bal on the car so I was technically still paying. Out of professional courtesy they didn’t even offer. It’s like they just took my money I’ve invested and pretty much told me too bad. I contacted DMV and was consulting an attorney to see what my options were. Sam contacted me and demanded the rest of payment. I told Sam I would be in touch because I was still consulting with the attorney. The same day I get a loud banging in my door. There were two drug addicts at my front door demanding I give them my keys, saying they were from RAS without any paperwork. The woman who came to my door assaulted me and there is currently a criminal investigation in progress. I later returned the vehicle because I’d rather not deal with these shady people. I am out of a lot of money and I also don’t have a car. Explore your options! They are getting cars and selling lemons. BEWARE!BEWARE CUSTOMER!
After owning 3 Hooks Lincoln Navigators, they have lost my business. I had a defect come up on the sidewall of my Perrelli tire with less than 18,000 miles. Both service, who told me I must have hit something, and Curtis the Sales Manager said sorry but I was out of luck. I guess customer service is dead, even for loyal repeat customers. For this reason, I will buy my next vehicle elsewhere.
