First off, to sell tin they send you next door to another scrap yard (American), hopefully they let you know before youve waited a long time already. Then for all other metals you come back here, wait in line. Parking is ridiculous, only few inches between your car & everything else. I've had to crawl over, &climb out other door of my car. Workers don't pay you any attention unless you're a liked regular, have to flag them down & still get forgotten about. I waited over an hour to get a bin after I parked. When I finally got 1, they only said I could turn in a few things because now its closing time. The guy was throwing everything I had sorted together in a pile, while the cashier was rude on intercom saying "that's it, you can come back tomorrow, we're closed" I said I'd been there waiting for almost 2hrs & just got a bin 5min ago! Only got to turn in about 1/3 of my load, got crap prices(mixed #1 w/#2,
Great service gave me top dollar for my metal. They even sorted copper for top dollar, they could have easily ripped me off being new to scrapping.
I had never sold to a scrap yard before so, I was a little leery due to not so great reviews I read about scrap yards in general. I had originally spoke with a buyer named Jimmy at the CMC-Liberty location in Dallas(I-30@Westmoreland). But due to the fact that they would be closed (Sat hours) by the time I would arrive there, Jimmy referred me to a buyer named John at the CMC-Fort Worth location. I called John and explained to him of the long distance I would be coming to get there. He gave me great directions and assured me that I would arrive in time before the yard closed. Once I arrived John directed me to one of his yard supervisors named Brandon Brown. Brandon walked me right through the process and gave me top dollar for my scrap. The cash-out process was just as easy as the weigh in. Everyone involved there from the scales to the cash-out were complete professionals. I will be going back there if/when I need to sell any scrap material. I highly recommend this yard to anyone who needs to sell their scrap. While there I was told of their new facility due to open soon.
Very friendly service. Busy though - it pays to be patient. Why put your household aluminum cans in a blue cart or bag when you can receive a highest price here?
Thank you so much for the best service in the city.
I love doing business with these guys they are friendly . Most imporant you can see the scale read out and you know you are not getting ripped off like other scrap yard around here .
Excellent services go beyond what other scrap yard offer .
I use your coupons since June and now is almost end of September . I”m looking forward to see what you have for October. Also I really like your customer comment card during waiting.
