Rented a unit on Friday and by Sunday someone from a neighboring unit had climbed over the gap in the ceiling inside and broke 2 of our shelves using them as a ladder and rifled through 2 boxes, stealing an antique radio. Management wasn't concerned with the issue nor were they concerned with resolving the issue. I would NOT recommend this place for safe Storage.
I have never rented a storage place before, I needed a place to store my stuff as I downsized. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They answered all of my questions and helped me with everything that I needed from boxes, moving supplies and a place to store my car. Storage Works is a clean place and I would recommend it to store your items.

They couldn't give me change so I had to bring smaller bills back to them. I gave them $9.00 cash and they handed me a receipt. They never told me (and I did not look at the receipt..I just took off so we could go out of town,,my bad!) that the $9.00 was for renter's insurance for that current month that only had one day left in it..very underhanded in my book.... so, apparently I still owed them money for the next month, and of course the manager nor the worker specified verbally that the $9.00 was for renter's insurance only and would not cover the next month's rent. I found out that we still owed them money 7 days after the First of the month and by then we had late fees. Read every piece of paper they give you. Get copies of every receipt, including move out notice. Read every receipt CAREFULLY!
They will take your money any way they can! I signed a monthly contract with them in Sept 2012, and in March 2013 they raised my rent (by $17) without prior notification or explanation. Then I gave them the required 2 weeks notice on April 11 (my rent was due on the 12th) to move my belongings out April 27, and asked them to prorate my rent because I was only going to need the space for 16 days in April. They would NOT prorate, and when I asked why, the assistant manager rudely said "It's in your contract!". I went home and reviewed my contract, and it says CubeSmart does not refund, but no where does it say it does not prorate. Apples and oranges. So if you're reading this, you idiot who told me that, learn the meaning of the 2 words!!! I wasn't asking for a refund!!! Will NEVER do business with them again!!!
The Storage Works on Golden Triangle (1709) in Keller, TX really helped me when I moved last month. I didn't know what size unit I needed and they showed me the various self-storage areas, pointing out the different features. I choose 2 storage units, one indoor and one outside for our boat. The Storage Works impressed me as clean and well-lit, and I liked the computerized entrances. When I mentioned I needed to rent a truck, they suggested the right size and showed me a map of the area so that I could find my new apartment. Happy customer here!
