I have been with them for almost 5 years. They are always helpful and maintain the facility very well. It is always clean and I have never experienced any problems with the controlling gate. I highly recommend this business and the people running it.
Rented a unit on Friday and by Sunday someone from a neighboring unit had climbed over the gap in the ceiling inside and broke 2 of our shelves using them as a ladder and rifled through 2 boxes, stealing an antique radio. Management wasn't concerned with the issue nor were they concerned with resolving the issue. I would NOT recommend this place for safe Storage.
DO NOT STORE HERE!!! When my fiance and I started storing our belongings here we had spoken with a gentleman that had told us that with the "free truck rental" that if we didn't use it at the beginning of our move in that they would still honor it and let us use it when we moved out. We have recently purchased our first home and will be closing in less than a month and wanted to make sure that everything was in line for the next big step in our lives. I went up and spoke with an employee about reserving the truck for our move out and was told that they do not allow for their customers to use it for move out, confused and upset I had asked for the manager/owner of the company to give me a call to discuss the matter further. April Young the owner had contacted me and after explaining to her the situation she then preceded to tell me that I was lying and that the employee that had told my fiance and I the information that he did would never say that. During the entire conversation this so called "Professional business woman" continued to talk down to me. I then proceeded to let her know that I wasn't comfortable or happy with the service that I was receiving and had expected so much more from the owner. I mentioned that we will be happily moving out and that I would be writing a review of my experience and she proceeded to threaten me that if I did that she wouldn't be afraid to take legal action against me. Like I said before unless you want to be scrutinized, put down and completely appalled of their service I would not store your belongings here.
Do not trust this company!! I scheduled a move a few weeks in advance with the owner and we agreed on a specific time and date. I sold my home and had to be out on that date and THEY DID NOT SHOW UP!!!!! I had also called a few days in advance to comfirm and to make sure they were bringing an extra trailer for my outdoor items since i had lived there 10 years. He said yes they were bringing it. I had to scramble and thanks to them I had to leave many of my belongings there. VERY VERY IRRESPONSIBLE!!!!!!
Beware this All Storage Facility is NOT secure. The sign that says “32 Security Cameras” on the side of their building is just a JOKE.The contents of my storage unit at this location were pilfered and electronics and personal items were stolen and other items were damaged.I notified management and after 14 days we were told due to lack of cameras they were unable to capture footage of the thief.Do not store your valuables here unless you don’t need them anymore.Jennifer and Matt were not at all helpful and were told that it was our fault for not locking the unit correctly. When we posted a sign to the entrance of our building requesting the thief to return our belongings it was immediately taking down and Jennifer said we could not hang it up.They have been no help in locating our belongings or finding the thief.BEWARE!
I have never rented a storage place before, I needed a place to store my stuff as I downsized. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They answered all of my questions and helped me with everything that I needed from boxes, moving supplies and a place to store my car. Storage Works is a clean place and I would recommend it to store your items.
I gave 1 star because it would not let me rate, unless I gave it at least 1. Josh Villalobos was the person that took my order at the Fort Worth location. I told him the size, style & color of the building that I wanted. The day before the installation, I got a call asking me if I knew that I was not going to be able to open the garage doors all of the way. What? Why have garage doors that I cannot open all of the way? The lady that called, Melissa, said that she had been trying to call Josh all morning, but he would not answer his phone and that if I still wanted the same size garage doors, I was going to have to pay more money that day. This was an oversight by Josh. I called Josh and he was very rude about the entire situation & was not willing to make any adjustments for me, even though he should have caught this before the order was placed. I asked him about making this right & he threatened ti cancel the order, even though it was scheduled to be installed the next day. I had to contact the manufacturer, to make sure that he did not cancel the installation. I would have liked to canceled it, so that he would not get any commission from it, but I had already wasted 3 weeks from the time of ordering. I did nit want to have to wait another 3 weeks with someone else. I am very dissatisfied with the service that I have received from Leland's in Fort Worth. Please don't waste your time with them, because as soon as they get your money, then they start screwing you over. That's what happened to me.
The best movers I ever hired! They were affordable, nothing was broken, and they were very careful with our items. I got wore out just watching how hard they worked! I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, they are REHIRED!!!

...I walked in with cash one day before the end of the month to pay for the next month and turn in our move out notice (they require ten days). The manager on property told me it would be $9.00 (the previous month was free so I did not question the $9.00..the first month is the most expensive). They couldn't give me change so I had to bring smaller bills back to them. I gave them $9.00 cash and they handed me a receipt. They never told me (and I did not look at the receipt..I just took off so we could go out of town,,my bad!) that the $9.00 was for renter's insurance for that current month that only had one day left in it..very underhanded in my book.... so, apparently I still owed them money for the next month, and of course the manager nor the worker specified verbally that the $9.00 was for renter's insurance only and would not cover the next month's rent. I found out that we still owed them money 7 days after the First of the month and by then we had late fees. Read every piece of paper they give you. Get copies of every receipt, including move out notice. Read every receipt CAREFULLY!

Different pieces of furniture require certain methods of storage. Special bags will protect any couches and chairs you're storing. When you bring these items to the unit, be sure to stand them up to maximize space.
Bed frames should ideally be taken apart before being put into a storage unit, while mattresses can be wrapped in a protective seal and stood against a wall. If you're unable to take apart the bed frame, do not store any materials nearby that may taint the color of the bedding.
For smaller tables, try to take them apart. If that's not possible, place a moving blanket on the floor and then place the table on top with its legs facing upward, and then wrap them in a protective material. For chairs, place them upside down on a table also covered in protective material.
Dressers can be placed against the wall and also used as a space to store boxes. Additionally, the drawers can house small fragile items. Just be sure to use stretch wrap to prevent the drawers from opening.
Lamps should be disassembled, wrapped in protective material and placed in boxes specifically designed to store lamps. When it comes to televisions, protect them as much as possible. If you're storing a TV, you'll likely want to rent a climate-controlled storage unit because extreme temperatures may cause some issues with liquid crystal displays.
In general, furniture should be stored with care and covered in protective material whenever possible. Ensure your storage space can hold multiple large furniture sets as well.
Most storage facilities have security measures in place. They are generally accessible for a certain number of hours and have a manager on site, in addition to security cameras. They also require you to submit a special code to enter. You should also make sure the property is adequately lit for visits in the evening.
