I found the perfect wedding dress my first visit there. The store associates were so helpful each time I went for fittings. It is a bit more pricey than other bridal stores. Alterations are expensive. I would probably recommend finding somewhere cheaper. In the end, I was a happy bride. I wouldn't use them for bridesmaid dresses, too pricey.

When I went to pick out my wedding dress, it was amazing! The help I received was excellent. Fast forward a year and I had my first fitting on April 5th. 1. the Seamstress didn't think I knew my Bust size. 2. After all pins were in I walked out of there very confident paying my $141. I was told to come back for my final fitting May 3rd (2 weeks before my wedding)- It didn't fit! The bust was taken in so much I couldn't close it and the waist wasn't taken in at all. She didn't even take the strap out! No apology whatsoever! So I chalked it up as a mistake, then rescheduled for May 10th (1 week before wedding). I came in to try my dress on...instead of letting out, she took in another inch! and slightly took in the hips and waist. No apology Again! Had to go back the monday before my wedding and completely start over. When all said and done I got my dress back - not fully happy but it was done. Called managers and even the owner to explain and perhaps get my alteration money back- only excuses were made "well she's an introvert", "It's busy with prom season" "She's been with us a long time"... only excuses...If you value the way you look in your dress and don't want your blood pressure to rise, do not even think about going into this store... It is well worth the couple extra hundred on a dress at another store..
Very up happy with the phone etiquette I received today from a Sales Associate. I met the Wendys Bridal team at the Bridal Show at the Coliseum and booked an appointment. Then I found a few dresses I liked at a competitor in the $300-$600 price point and called Wendy's today and simply stated "I have an appointment next week, I'm deciding if I want to cancel it or not. Do you have dresses in the $300-$600 range? Because I found other dress elsewhere I liked in that range, and I'm trying to decide if I want to keep my appointment with you or not...." The Associate abruptly said "I have to place you on hold!" And 4 minutes I sat on hold...thinking about how this felt & sounded from the customers standpoint. Not good at all. Not good as a bride determining to give you her business or not... The Associate came back on the line 4 minutes later asking "What's your name?! And when's your appointment next week?!" I wasn't sure that mattered....I had asked if they have dresses in the $300-$600 price point.... I asked to speak to her manager. She had her manager call me back within 10 minutes. Manager "sorta" apologized, stating "I've worked here 9 years and this is the first complaint I've ever recieved" I stated, "Does this make it right?" Manager keep saying how busy they are, someone didn't show up, someone called in sick, she wasn't even supposed to work today...yadda yadda. None of that matters to the customer. The customer should feel valued, even if only by the Associates tone of voice. The Associate could have been polite, stating she was helping some brides, took my phone # and kindly asked to call me back today to discuss my question further. But she let the busy, stress get to her and come off rude and "too busy" for me. End result---I cancelled my appointment with Wendys, and am that much for "sure" of the decision I am making with their competitor. Had the Associate treated me differently, I would have came to my appointment in 3 days.
I bought a super expensive wedding dress there back in 2011, and they charged me a fee for "ordering" it on time and I told them specifically that I did not need it on a certain date so there was no need for the charge so then I did want to pay for it because on my receipt It does not state a fee charge so I even had police involved because they were so mean and so aggressive wanting me to pay $75 dollar fee. THE OWNER IS FROM LEBANON AND HER CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS SO HORRIBLE. SHE JUST WORRIED ABOUT MONEY AND HER STORE! ANYWAYS I ENDED UP NOT PAYING NO NEEDED FEE THANKS TO MY LOVELY RECEIPT THAT I HAD ON ME AT ALL TIMES AND THE POLICE....I HATEEEE THAT PLACE, AT LEAST MY DRESS LOOKED AMAZING AND DEFINITELY WAS WORTH $1250
I loved the store and customer service. Left very happy. However.....I ordered my daughter's wedding dress over 9 months ago and it is still not in. Getting a little bit worried!
This place rocks! From the first time we stepped into this shop it was a wonderful experience. Autumn and her staff are all very professional, kind, attentive and helpful. It is the bridal experience you want. You are one person, not one of many parading around searching for dresses and feeling like you're part of a cattle herd. We had not one moment of angst or regret or buyers remorse coming here. I highly recommend this place. Makes you feel special like you should!
Wish I could give negative stars! Bought my daughter's wedding dress there and they did not keep promise to clean the makeup off of her dress that was there from girls trying it on. They were VERY disorganized and lost her file with names and colors and they called many times about other customer's dresses. They seemed uninterested in helping the bridesmaids during their fittings and even had them try on new bridesmaid's dresses that were already purchased and waiting to be picked up!! They ordered one of the dresses in a small even though she measured an extra small during 3 visits to the store. They said they ordered it right but couldn't find any of the papers to back up their story and even tried to say it was the bridesmaids fault for losing weight (which she hadn't). They were going to charge her as much for alterations as the dress cost! The dress wouldn't have needed any alterations if it was ordered right! They did pay for part of the alterations but when she put the dress on right before the ceremony, the seam in the back was unraveling where it had been altered. 15 minutes before my daughter's wedding I was sewing up her bridesmaid's dress. They certainly gave us a memorable experience but definitely not a good one!
I went there and tried on at least 10 dresses. I didn't like any if them. Then the girl that was helping ne suggested trying on bridesmaids dresses that they could order one in white. The very first one I tried on I knew was the one. Great service. I would recomend!!!
I visited many of the bridal stores in Fort Wayne, and this was by far the best! I found the dress of my dreams at an awesome price, and the staff was amazing! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great bridal selection at reasonable prices! They also had a great selection of formal dresses too!
I've been trying to get my money OR dress back for MONTHS!!! The owner tries to reassure me that my dress sold but doesn't know for how much or to whom she sold it (therefore not knowing how much to pay me) All I want is either my dress or the money for it... and can't seem to get either!!!
