These people are amazing! I accidentally fell on my pug puppy on the ice. He was bleeding through his nose, bad sign. My regular vet did not think he would make it and sent me to the emergency animal hospital. They pulled him through! I could not be more grateful

My dog died .....she did not have to but no one took the time to listen or question if their first diagnosis was correct. They just did not care.Originally, I brought her in because she was not eating and developed a cough. It was thought to be Para Influenza. She was given an antibiotic shot. days later she was not better so I called in to see if I should bring her back. I was told the shot was good for two weeks and I should wait.Three days later she is worse and I carry her in and tell them she is not eating and she is worse. Antibiotic # 2 and a bronchodilator.Another three days I take her back. Not eating, breathing much worse.Antibiotic #3 and lasix. The antibiotics are not working.Over the weekend and I take her back again ...... I have to insist on IV antibiotics.Vet #3 sees her (they all had their chance to catch the mistake) and finds an ulcerated lymph node, now we have a cancer scare. Needle biopsy. While taking my little girl who is now emaciated, nearly blind and incontinent in for her third day of antibiotics ...... it's clear to me this is her last day and recovery is not possible. She spends her last day at home with her family and at 4pm on Thursday we put her down. Abby is gone.Monday, biopsy is back. Blastomycosis infection."Symptoms of blastomycosis infection in dogs include loss of appetite, fever, weight loss, inflammation of the iris of the eye, coughing, and pus-filled skin lesions. More serious symptoms can include sudden blindness, lameness, and seizures."IF SOMEONE HAD JUST CARED ENOUGH TO CHECK! THERE WERE PLENTY OF CHANCES! SHE DID NOT HAVE TO DIE AND THAT IS THE GREATEST PAIN OF ALL.I was one of Indian Creeks first customers. I met Dr. Cawood just after his building was built and was so impressed that I have spent 15+ years telling family, friends, and customers that Indian Creek was the place to take your pets. Until now. I left my old Google review below.Old reviewIf you want your animal diagnosed correctly the first time .... See Kevin Cawood. He is simple the smartest, best Vet I have ever met in a lifetime of owning pets.
Not only do you educate, and take time to teach us clients, the importance of what flea meds to buy (by giving us insight why most don't work-missing a ingredient)...let alone the recalled brand(s). Impressed highly that you actually care about offering options (minimizing tests, unless necessary) to help financially individuals strapped ... AND (gives ya a pat on your back) that your whole business thrives with utmost care and great superior knowledge of your profession and field. Not all vet's are the same, and will leave that at that!!! Should of known about you a long ago. Alas, am grateful with genuine sincerity that not only do you have a long lifetime client, but I sure do brag about what (as in whole) what you represent and offer. If no one values my rating and opinion, I do hope they give you a gander once they are in need and find out for themselves of all these benefits n more. All would be foolish not to. With of what little facts I just shared, I (we) personally want to thank you AGAIN and share how we could not do without ya. Taj Mahal building...Taj Mahal staff (of love of care)...Without the pressure or Taj Mahal price's. God bless! See you next time
They are slow. Didn't know what breed my dog was. The price is outrageous. I won't go back. Have now clue what is going on.
This vet saved the life of one of my fur babies. They also did their best to save a senior rescue dog we had. They give our current fur babies the BEST treatment ever. Angie, Alisha, and the front desk staff are awesome! The vets, Dr. Cawood, Dr. Smith, and Dr. O'Leary and their entire staff are very caring people. I have referred many people here and have yet to hear one negative comment. These people can just about work miracles with treatment. I am thankful they are our vet!
Well if you can put up with being placed on hold for ten minutes every time you call, appointments not being put on the books, and your price match for meds not being recorded, then its a good place with good doctors.
